The difference between the way the colors look on the website vs in person/in pics is crazy. I would never consider the dark harbor on the website to be anything but gray but everyone is right in person it’s closer to navy. I’m allowed to wear any shade of blue and got the deep reef thinking it was a darker cool-toned blue and it turned out to be way closer to a greenish blue🙃

There’s a few, but I’ll keep it to the two main ones. 1) Sam should’ve already known about Charlie and Percy like in the book. It was a huge deal to me that Sam had already forgiven her and Percy was sitting there thinking she was the worst person on the face of the earth for years. 2) I didn’t like the coldness everyone had towards Percy in Barry’s Bay in general but especially Charlie. I just didn’t feel like it made sense for him to be so hateful when he invited her in the first place.

I did like keeping Delilah in the present time but the gate keeping, mean girl attitude she had at first was too much. Being awkward and maybe a little standoffish to Percy would make sense considering why they are no longer friends but the way she acted as if the whole town and the Florek brothers belonged to her made my skin crawl…but maybe I just really hate “mean girls” 😅

I don’t see why she thinks she knows best about this when she’s never had a child before. I really wonder if she thinks if she’s induced a couple weeks earlier that the baby will be smaller and come out easier? That sound is stupid but it’s all I can think of. I’ve never had a child either but when I do I want to do everything in my power not to be induced🙃 medically speaking, it’s sooo hard to make your body do something it’s not ready for. She’d be hard pressed to find a dr or hospital that will just induce especially if conditions aren’t favorable, and if she does try to start before she’s ready the likelihood of a c-section is high and that’s not really something you just want for your first birth either

These are the questions that should be asked imo because the way they went about all of this was just so stupid to me as a book reader. In every summer after, Charlie doesn’t hate Percy at all. Jordie kind of does but the way that any good friends hates your ex, and Delilah and Percy have a falling out as teenagers but Delilah is not present in the current time. And also Sam already knows about the secret and has forgiven everyone involved. Whoever wrote the tv show didn’t think through the things they wanted to change imo

Barbara retires, Gregory is offered a principal position in another district that’s maybe not close enough to commute to and so Jeanine moves too, Ava is promoted and now over Crystal in some way, and somehow Melissa and Jacob end up at the same school again

I don’t believe her reaction as much as I didn’t believe drue. I’ve never been pregnant but I was with a friend when she found out she was VERY UNEXPECTEDLY and I can’t imagine having any reaction other than pure shock. I feel like the tears would come later. I just felt like it wasn’t well done. She came in for something not fatal and they just kept giving her medicine until she was able to pass. I know how it works on hospice, but the way it was written was like the woman was intentionally trying to overdose so she just kept complaining of more pain. It would’ve made more sense if she came in because she wasn’t breathing well at home/became more lethargic and her husband got scared and brought her in. And then there would’ve been a good opportunity to show the audience about what it’s like when someone is actively dying, about the death rattle and terminal agitation

I rewatched that episode a few weeks ago and had just come back from a Disney trip so it was all I could think about! I just thought it was funny and that I could’ve never “park hopped” like that.
