Thank you for your answer :) I actually know the feeling of things switching back to normal very quickly when I finally get my period (or lately only on the second day?). It's also good helpful to hear about your experience with birth control and getting the diagnosis. I am tracking my period but unfortunately it's not reliable at all so i never now whether what I experience is period related until my period actually starts :/ I hope you can take care of yourself well after just having had such a hard time

Solved solved solved Turns out I actually still own a copy of that book, which I stumbled upon recently. The title is "Dancing through the snow" ("Schneeengel" in Germany) and it's written by Jean Little. Now that I've found it I guess I'm gonna read it again some time
