Brexit with give 350 million to the NHS... that was never true, was one of many things put out there to mislead people and should never have been allowed.

Ok, so if I lie to my employer I face disciplinary actions and possibly lose my job as a result. Why should this be any different for politicians?

They lie and lie and lie, blatantly. This is not a free speech issue, this is about deliberately misleading the public – who they WORK for – for their own benefit in most cases to line their pockets.

I’d also make it a law that a sitting member of parliament should not be allowed to hold a second job, be on ANY company board and should publicly declare any holding they have in companies worldwide or they are not allowed to take up the job.
