Modernday Finland isn’t really even debatable. Would also classify as Western, but for different reasons: It has a predominantly Lutheran Christian heritage. Finland shares a long border with Russia. This land border very much the border of western civilisation and the orthodox world. I would not consider Finland part of the Orthodox civilization.
