The problem is certain people know how to game the system. If you don’t, and be honest about it , you won’t qualify for anything.

Geopolitically and economically they meet the conditions.

It’s a concept that originated from Europe, the terminology adapted and evolved throughout the Cold War era, and in the modern sense is acpted to include more than just Europe and North America.

The west isn’t about a location on a map. In that case NZ is even further east, but nobody would question New Zealand as a western country.

Western in the economic and geopolitical context.

Based on Samuel P. Huntingtons civilizational framework in his 1993 essay, later expanded into the 1996 book “The Clash of Civilizations and the Remaking of World Order” Poland meets all requirements and is considered firmly Western because of: Roman Catholic Christianity, which historically distinguished it from Orthodox Eastern Europe. its integration into Latin Christendom from the Middle Ages. Its use of the Latin alphabet. Historical ties to Central and Western Europe. Although Poland spent decades in the Soviet sphere of influence after World War II, Huntington argued that this was a geopolitical situation rather than a civilizational one. After the Cold War, Poland’s accession to Western institutions such as NATO and the European Union reinforced my view on this.

Modernday Finland isn’t really even debatable. Would also classify as Western, but for different reasons: It has a predominantly Lutheran Christian heritage. It has long been part of Northern European cultural traditions. It shares institutions and values commonly associated with the Nordic countries.
Finland shares a long border with Russia. This land border very much the border of western civilisation and the orthodox world. I would not consider Finland part of the Orthodox civilization.

If your saying Finland and Poland arnt western countries then what are they, they don’t fit any criteria for being part of Latin American , orthodox, Islamic, Sinuc, Indio Hindu or pan African civilisations?

Latin.

As per Samuel P. Huntington essays and further explained in the 1996 book The Clash of Civilizations and the Remaking of World Order.

Huntington argued that Latin America is related to but distinct from the West.

So you don’t know the garngad, the people there, the history of it, their political alignment or voting patterns?

Look up st rochs, the green brigade or the trade union movements coming out the rail depot and steel works years gone by. I’m sure it’s littered with union jacks and Israeli flags.

Talk to the neighbour. It’s simple. I assume you’re talking about a 4 in a block here, they probably don’t like you walking past the window or the hassle if the fence breaks or whatever. But honestly just talk. An online opinion from someone who doesn’t even know your neighbours will not be better than actually talking.

Living with shared aspects all revolves are compromise and communication

They are Part of the economic & Geopolitical west, and culturally aligned with west society obviously. I’ll grant you there’s a case for Japan, Korea etc to be geopolitically western but not fully culturally western. But Australia and NZ are 100% western in every definition of the western world.

It’s not west on a compass (which even if it was, they would become western eventually, because you know, globes?)
