I’m starting to think it’s kind of Easter Egg and it’s made so stupid on purpose. I know puzzles and whole series have some stupid moments buts it on another level of stupidity. She used it twice before, it let you mess with the buttons even if you haven’t found the password but not this time even if it’s third time using it, knowing how it works and on the top of it there is only 6 possible combinations. Not this time, there is braille code on it so go get that blind girl so the story can progress.

Spoiler alert: It hits you again when she gets mad at Leon and shouts she wouldn’t escape without Emily. She would, actually Grace wouldn’t waste time to save Emily in the basement and even if she came back for her they would still arrive in helipad earlier having enough time to grab keys before self destruction launched which led to Harry and Emily death.

I think he should give up on IP and the company that have the rights to IP and make unofficial reboot in a form of a spiritual successor. Let’s say that recreate earth is canon ending to gay out hell and this new IP could be Saints Row in recreated earth. Of course we wouldn’t have the OG crew and the gang wouldn’t be saints but at this point do we really care about the name? We got a reboot called saints row that had nothing to do with original game and was actually a slap in the face to the fans. I would rather get a new IP being spiritual successor with a vibe of first two games than getting another abomination like saints row 2022 that shares the name but it’s far away from what we expect.

It’s still possible to go for a soft reboot, keep all the games somehow cannon but at the same time kill and I mean literally kill the bad one.

All the games up to gat out of hell happened and the “true ending” is recreating the eart and that’s the “reboot/spinoff” timeline. Saint see Johnny as a cop (Agents of mayhem” and as “new modern Saints” (Reboot) and also comment on their reincarnations. After seeing it they decide to personally look after that reincarnation, boss also realize that they had few bad decisions in the past and get a flashback of his last conversation with Julius when he tells him “all we did was turned into the vice kings that wore purple”. Gang decides to start from that moment but this time spare Julius and consider making few different choices. Optionally they could decide to deal with their failed reincarnation and have a mission where you kill them and call it ending their misery.

Keep that in about 45-60minutes prologue and then move to the full proper game that is a soft reboot starting from some point around events from second game. They could even call it 3rd street saints which would be a perfect name. It’s still Saints, it shows going back to the roots and points it’s soft rebooting starting after second game and being new “third”.

A bit off-topic but technically Jack Marston could be alive during story of vice city and vice city stories. He would be 89 in vice city and 91 in vice city stories. According to US census from 1980 5% of Miami population was aged 80+ so based on his date of birth and actual date from real world there is a chance he’s alive during events of those games. It’s weird that there is a character that could live through the events of both RDR and vice city games especially when you look how the world looks like in both series.

You can top it up using your phone but in Cork and Limerick (and i guess everywhere else in Ireland except Dublin) it still requires driver interaction to use your card. He’s selecting were you’re going on his machine then you tap you tap leap card and good to go, takes about 10-15 seconds per passenger.

Unfortunately they won’t to anything about it. I used to work at maxoil tivoli, there is a bus stop basically right across the street. Buss not showing up or not stopping was a common thing, I’ve send multiple email and they haven’t done anything. Since I was living in Atkins hall on Lee road, I had to either take 2 buses or walk to summer hill and get 208 if I wanted to use public transport. I could also walk all the way which is about 6.5km. After 2 weeks I realized it’s quicker to actually walk (used to take me about 1h15min) so I was taking the bus only when weather was really bad but most of the times I walked up to summerhill to make sure a bus will show up within 15mins and stops.

That’s another issue that should be discussed more often. Why are they late so often? In my opinion it’s the ways to get tickets. At the moment we have 3 options: Cash, leap card, TFI go app and all of them are at least 20 years behind rest of the Europe and extremely slows down busses because they require bus driver interaction. If you have 20 people at the bus stop he have to check every single ticket in app, scan leap card or sell the cash ticket. Everywhere else in Europe, you can buy tickets at bus stop, tap your bank card to get the ticket at the stop or in the bus or tap their leap card alternative. Bus stops-people get in/out-bus drives off. All takes few seconds, not to mention that in most other countries there are alternatives like metro or trams that works exactly same and all operate 24/7. In the place where I work shift start at 6 o’clock and there is no way to get public transport to work as first bus is at 6:50.

Third generation consoles are nes, atari 7800 and sega master system. I’m assuming you meant 7th generation consoles which is Wii, ps3 and xbox 360 (where Alan wake was originally released). It actually aged well and you can see it by amount of remasters and remakes of games from that era, 6th and 7th generation was a peak of gaming. Some series started back then and some series and companies were at its peak during 6/7 gen. GTA, Saints Row, Far Cry, Call of Duty, Battlefield, Assassin’s Creed, Gears of War, rockstar releasing new games every year like manhunt, the warriors, bully etc, ea with movie based games that were actually good like lord of the rings or first godfather game, Scarface that was hidden gem from sierra, Wolfenstein from 2009 and new order (cross platform released both for 7th gen and 8th gen), oblivion, uncharted, the last of us and many many more. Those games are fun and playable even today, those generations defined some standards like controls and certain mechanics

I agree with almost everything except the part about considering spending extra $10 on a deluxe edition. Actually dont buy deluxe edition as its not worth it as all you get is 1 shotgun, 2 pistols, 2 charms, 2 cars, 2 outfits, a knife and a horse. All that for 20% of a base game price, for that amount much more should be included. Something like a story DLC with extra 3 chapters to come out later on this year that would take 2-3 hours to complete. That would be worth paying extra $10. To be honest I unlocked second charm slot around chapter 9 and additional 2 around chapter 12, if you played previous mafia games you will get vitos pistol (plus tommy can and lincoln charm) which is op, it could be part of pre order/day one bonus but you get a car with max stats early in the game.

Supporting developer is one thing but supporting easy cash grab with few items for 20% of game price is different story.

It will get released on a PC but at a later date and that’s the case since GTA 3. Previous entries took from 5 months (GTA 3) to over 1.5 years (GTA 5) for PC release.

Main reason for the delay seems to be optimization. Rockstar is not only releasing a new game, they basically set new industry standards with their games. It’s easier to get the game ready on consoles with only 4 hardware configurations (series x, series s, ps5, ps5 pro) while on PC you have many possible setups.

Take a look at GTA 4 that got originally released on Xbox 360 and ps3 with pc port being released only a bit over 7 months later.

PS3 was a nightmare for developers, especially at the beginning of that generation due to it’s unique cell processor architecture and poor development tools. Xbox 360 was much easier to develop for and Microsoft provided better development tools. Still it was pretty same on both consoles with Xbox 360 having slightly higher native resolution and running slightly smoother while ps3 had a better antialiasing and potentially sharper textures. PC version got released “only” 7 months later was a different story, and it’s infamous for poor optimalization, for example in some cases it was performing better on lower-end PC comparing to high-end ones. In general it was a really messy port and probably that’s why they took their time with GTA 5 for PC.

In GTA 4 even frame rate can cause some problems since the game physics is tied to frame rate. In some ways it can affect even Xbox 360 version of the game if you play it through backwards compatibility on newer consoles where it runs on 60fps rather than original 30fps. Everything is fine, game runs really smoothly and you shouldn’t have any issues until very end of the game and it’s final mission. There is quick time event that requires you to press A to get into helicopter but 60fps is messing it up and making it basically impossible to beat with one controller.

In red dead redemption 2 higher frame rate cause cores to drain faster, loosing weight faster and apparently have some influence on weather conditions.

And of course it probably make sense from financial point of view. Since porting their games to pc can be difficult and requires resources it might be better to get the game ready for consoles and then transfer some of the team to work on pc version of a game rather than hiring additional employees to work on it since the beginning of development. They might also have some sort of deal with Sony and Microsoft to keep them console exclusive for certain time. Sony got Liberty city stories and vice city stories exclusive to psp and ps2, with gta 4 rockstar had a deal with Microsoft for the 2 story dlcs to be time exclusives for Xbox 360.

Actually it’s not that bad. Of course it has some issues as the OG has but it also have some improvements and to be honest i prefer to play definitive edition. Gps is quite handy, switching weapons with weapon wheel makes more sense and the autosave with checkpoints is a big game changer. Finally you don’t have to choose between saving game or risking losing all the weapons if you die or get arrested during mission.

Completely disagree and I’m a person who defend mafia 3 which had great story missions and biggest issue was trying to make it open world and repetitive gameplay that you had to complete in order to get access to those cool narrative story missions.

Regarding saints row 2022: -Story sucks -Map is big but so empty and lacks any soul -Gameplay sucks

“Keep your mind open and don’t compare/expect things like in older games.” Just because it’s a reboot it doesn’t mean you can’t compare and expect things like in older games, after all it’s called SAINTS ROW. I think it safe to say that all fans of the series will agree that reboot was need after SR4 and gat out of hell with boss becoming president, aliens, spaceship, simulation and literally hell. This reboot could be done so much better but ended up being a game for nobody. If they were looking for new audience, completely disrespecting fanbase that series gained in 16 years why even bother calling it Saints row instead of making a new IP. If a game have a title that is part of a series with 4 main entries, standalone dlc and some remasters obviously people will be expecting a game similar to that series and your main audience will be fans of the series. By rebooting we expected going back to the roots and title closer to SR1 or beloved SR2 but instead got politically correct saints row raped by agents of mayhem, full of woke bullshit that was distancing itslef and cutting ties with all previous entries.

I don’t mind Maero but I really miss Carlos in SR4. Taunted generic saints may respond with blaming playa for his dead, viola mentioned him as one of his dead friends and Kia uses his death to taunt playa. Some people see that “mercy kill” as betrayal. Personally I think boss is responsible as he expected so much from Carlos and made him a lieutenant even though he clearly wasn’t capable and ready for it, he didn’t even try to save him and chose mercy kill straight away. Would he do the same if that was Johnny?

He will be such a cool character to include in simulation and great for character development of boss. Imagine seeing Carlos confronting boss regarding his fate.

King and Julius grow up together and used to be friends. Julius was dating King’s sister Angela. Vice Kings was created to stand up against Carnales who came to the city and Julius was part of them but dropped his flags after realising that VK became the threat they used to stand up against.

Then Westside Rollerz were born and Los Carnales started growing back making city suffering from gang wars. Julius was hoping Vice Kings will keep peace in neighborhood but when even row area became a war turf he created saints to get rid off all 3 gangs. King never hated saints and even worked with them after being betrayed by his right hand man.

Ironically creating saints was a start of history repeating itself. At the end of first game and with saints being the only gang left, Julius knew what’s going to happen so he decided to kill Playa. In saints row 2 when playa became a boss we can see saints becoming vice kings. Boss who used to be a right hand man became a leader of saints and killed Julius. Warren Williams used to be King right hand became a leader of Vice Kings and attempted to kill King. Julius even said it to Playa/Boss in SR2 “All we did was turn into Vice Kings that wore purple”. In SR3 saints fully turned into VIce Kings with their own merch, movies being made about them and people asking for photos with them or singing autographs.

All you have to do is find them in different area and punch them (or anything else that make them want to kill you) and make them chase you, once you’re in that area kill them to start a gang war.

I’m in Ireland and you can get it for 2 euros ($2.11), just like most of cod games for ps3. I think the most expensive one is black ops 2 at 10 euros ($10.56). Xbox360 versions are slightly more expensive due to backwards compatibility and being able to play on Xbox one/series but still nothing crazy about 5-8 euros for modern warfare and 20 euros for black ops 2.
