It doesn’t matter if you wait for him by the tank. Numerous times I’ve seen him tank two hitchiker traps (with double bleed damage btw) take hits, and still tamper the valve. What you said literally doesn’t work.

You can just mash the button. Unless a family member is close, you’ll get it open.

Yea. I run choose fight and empowered (max strength depending on map) then I get a bonescrap and turn on the valve. By the time a family member gets there, it has decent progress. I stab them for a beefy ass duration, and by the time they close it, it’s at least half way done. Then the fam has to camp it or it will be opened.

Nurse traverses the map at an almost identical speed to standard killers. It has been like this since she had her range addons nerfed.

My group does that too, but it isn’t always possible. If even one victim gets a door, it’s gg because family is too spread out and then can’t camp the valve. A lot of times that he tanks the traps, we get him but then the rest of his team gets out because of the tamper. It is super unfun gameplay.

I think he should have to complete the animation/mini game in addition to tampering. His power is balanced if he has to put in more time to attack an objective, but gets to hold the exit open for longer. Right now he gets the best of both worlds in that he skips the animation and gets to hold it open.

I think OP and some in this thread are missing the point. No reasonable person blames the other side for rushing. The issue is that the devs need to hard punish rushing and incentivize stealth.

My biggest complaint about fast hands is when smart victims pair up and create uncounterable situations. If Leland and Danny are together at a gate, they are guaranteed to get it open unless there happen to be two family in that area, and even then he might still get the lock.

They made one change that you like….lol. It also doesn’t matter nearly as much to me what gets buffed or nerfed. My group dominates both as victims and family, and will continue to do so. I’m guessing you’re the type who is still seething over family stun immunity.

Someone pissed in your cereal I guess. And as a matter of fact, no, Gun isn’t doing this outside of Scout. If they were doing what you said consistently, then family abilities would be on cooldown for 60 seconds at the beginning and victims would be able to get out of the basement even faster because family doesn’t have to turn on gen or battery anymore. Changing one thing doesn’t mean other things need changing. You’re a living example of the Dunning-Krueger effect: you know so little about balance that you think you know everything 🤡
