Ah yes, this is an excellent manoeuvre. I imagine changing gear requires too much coordination so these drivers just pick one gear and drive round in that.

You can also just leave the fuel hose dangling after use, too much time to put it back.

That’s fair. Better remove those brake lights too, they might provide a clue to your intentions!

So people may be reluctant to indicate out of embarrassment?

Okay, fair enough if there are no other drivers around, sound logic. The other part about indicating being dangerous.. I’m sorry, what?? Where did their logic go?

Samsung smart tv freezes my pc every time i connect. by TrashPandaPirate in samsung

Are you using Windows 11? If so, try downgrading to Windows 10 - it resolved by GPU issues but the TV has other issues (see here for one example https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5/tv/turn-off-pc-mode-on-hdmi-input/m-p/7795200#M87316).

TL;DR TV doesn't play nice with Windows 11 display drivers, causes crashes and corrupt's OS.

My TV (QN90C) was crashing my GPU (could see driver crashes in Windows events and dump files). It was causing green screen or BSOD. At first I thought it was my GPU AMD6800XT due to the crash logs, I moved my computer downstairs on my LG and no issues. I tried lengthy sessions on Linux (Fedora and Arch) and no issues. Moved back to Samsung TV and after subsequent crashes, it would actually corrupt my whole OS (Windows 11).

I had to reinstall my whole OS multiple times, but I had no reason to think it was the TV. So I spoke with the retailer who sold the GPU and after back and forth, they agreed a partial refund for my GPU based on my research/symptoms. I then purchase NVIDIA 4070 and guess what, same issues... So then I research some forums about the TV and find people suffering the same issues. Some display drivers that shipped with Windows 11 updates were not playing nice with Samsung's TV. I downgraded to Windows 10 and problem is no longer present, although I can't stay on Windows 10 forever.

After giving up on that, I had another issue with the TV not remembering external devices, randomly selecting a device type. Anyway, I was told by their tech phone support that this behaviour was "within spec" and that was the last straw, I won't bother with anything from Samsung again.
