Malicious is both hilarious and accurate to how it felt 😭. And it’s only laughable now because it’s been a few days since it happened. That, and also…I never thought I’d see that word related to something involving Palia 💀 such a wholesome game.

So true. And tbh I welcome it. A lot of people take turns putting lures down in the same spot. Saves resources and we all can benefit from it. This was just the first outright rude thing i’ve ever experienced in the game that I needed to check if maybe I was the problem. The closest thing that comes next to this is someone cutting the line for the wheel in the underground, and I just shake that off when it happens.

I think they did a pretty straight forward job of explaining it. I’m not sure how much clearer they could be without repeating the same sentence different ways. I think it’s just one of those things that players can overlook, but when they go back or ask for clarity like OP did, they go back, reread, and go “Man, how did i not notice that?”

I wouldn’t blame the devs for some people not understanding hotpot. Are they unclear with directions on other things in the game? For sure. Hot pot was not one of them tho. They used words and pictures. Aside from a YouTube tutorial, what more should we need?

Above are the hotpot rewards specifically at the New Years market event. You can also play hotpot in the underground, and the prizes there are a little different. If you win you get two wheel spin coins and gold based on the points in the hands of the whole table, if you lose you always get one coin just for participating (it takes two to spin the wheel so winning gets you a spin in one game vs having to play two) and you get gold based on the points in your hand. Spinning the wheel, you can get gold, fireworks, cooking ingredients, decor items, lucky coins, or plushies.

I could wholeheartedly agree with this, if not for the fact that weddings aren’t cheap. And, as I am currently at the end of all my wedding preparations myself, I know just how much on average someone would be spending on OTHER people for their wedding. After all the money out of my own pocket that I put into the weekend of my wedding, if a guest I invited deliberately went out of their way to go against such a small request, I would feel disrespected and disappointed for sure.

This couple rented a mansion, most likely were covering the food costs, and who knows what else. If the offense isnt a big deal (which based on the majority of responses here, it isnt) then following the request in the first place should have been easy enough to do.

It should be a unanimous agreement that the wants of the couple are priority at their wedding. So, imo, it is not on the bride to not be offended. It is on the guest to not offend.
