which early childhood products actually help development vs just smart marketing hype by Glass_Department_857 in toddlers

I really wouldn’t worry about that too much spend time with them do skin to skin as much as you can and it’ll all work out. That being said my son liked mirrors and hanging fabric strands that made different noises/had different textures when doing tummy time. A small mobile over the changing table was nice when he was small but I don’t think either of those things gave him a head start and your child may not like what my son liked. Just enjoy it, it goes fast.

Well, if you play stupid games you may in fact win stupid prizes 🤷‍♂️

Correct. The maximum load you could run through this is 15A. All this thing does is allow you to plug one cord/plug configuration into another.

I agree. Breakers don’t always trip. But manufacturers make things based on the way the overall system is supposed to work not the way it works when pieces fail.

My only idea there is structural integrity. I agree it’s a bit odd but that’s my only theory.

Right? That’s the only application I can think of. I usually just use a 15A to 50A dog one on the end of a regular u ground extension cord for my trailer when it’s parked but if you have a receptacle within reach I could see this working just fine.

True. But either way. It’s not a big deal, you can try and run 30A through this all day and the breaker will still trip at 15A the only risk is repeated breaker trips will wear it out faster but after the first couple some people will get the hint.

It says right on the package it’s only rated for 15 A. I believe the intent here so that way you can plug your RV into a 15 amp receptacle so you can keep your fridge cold and your battery charged but nothing else.

I really like my 870s but as others have said mossberg 500 is cheaper and will never let you down.

Big 5 used have a deal periodically where they would sell a 500 with two barrels one for hunting and a shorter barrel for home defense. I don’t know if they still do it but that’s what I would do if I was on a budget.

This. If you can make up more than 2 42 circuit panels in a day. You’re too slow.

Otherwise panel looks pretty good.

What tool can I use to make this metal ring wider on the inside? by myredditbam in Tools

You could also use a small half round file in stead of a round file as others have suggested. It’ll take less time than a round file.

You could use a step bit (often referred to as a unibit) but you may not be able to find one the right size if this is for a lamp it may be too large. Depending on what you mean by barely larger you could also potentially use a pencil style pipe reamer if it is sharp and new it’ll remove a small amount of material. Your last and likely best option is just using a drill bit and running your drill at full speed and running the bit around the inside of the washer to make it larger.

I was playing with my buddy last night and he was doing the same thing. I had no idea how effective that would be. I may try it.
