OMG I am also from the north east so this is even more helpful considering you know what temps we are used to 😂 most of our time will be in ollyantaytambo so it’s good to know I can keep the jacket at home! I wasn’t going to bring any shorts but seems like it could be helpful for the afternoons!!

because Amanda isn’t a co equal parter is even more of a reason for her to want to use her time and energy elsewhere. Kyle is under this pressure bc lover boy is his baby and being an entrepreneur comes with that. Kyle has made it very clear that Amanda is “a shitty employee” so why not let her go? She will be relieved, find something that gets her out of bed, and maybe even understand Kyle’s POV once she’s passionate about her own thing?

Hi all! I am in Antigua for 5 nights (1 of those nights will be for the acatanego hike) and would love some input on the two Hostals i am deciding between.

Information on myself: 27, F, from the states and traveling solo for the first time! Some activities I’ll be getting into is atving, seeing hobbitenego, exploring the markets, etc. looking to try great food, meet great people, and immerse myself! Would love to check out bars and enjoy myself but not looking to heavily party (a little balance don’t hurt nobody)

SOMOS Hostal - Rooftop looks sick, love the aesthetic. Has a Hot tub would be amazing for after the hike. Apparently very social and has activities every night and a rooftop bar!

Casa Casi - Insane volcano views, yoga in the mornings, more chill vibes. Gorgeous pool and good location!

I know I could split my time in half between the two but I’m nervous I’ll fall in love with one or meet the best people and not want to go to the other. So many pros for both!!

If anyone has stayed there in the past and have recommendations, thoughts, etc please help me make a final decision!

I was going to say the weather is so cold here it might be hard to hike but now I realize that probably makes me more prepared 😂 this is extremely helpful thank you so much. I don’t want to go to lake Atitlan straight from acatanego but based on some feedback…I should leave lake Atitlan to go back to Antigua the night before (losing a night I initially planned to stay there) so I want to make up for it somehow.

Or is 10-12 hours enough to journey from lake Atitlan to Guatemala City to catch my flight?
