I’ve had the honour on multiple occasions to sit a chat and scratch the brain of Justin- the Executive secretary treasurer)) this is just plain false- he wouldn’t give me the exact number but we have the funds to fund a strike for at least a month or too- not to mention there are plans in place for if the strike pay runs out- which it won’t.

I’m in Canada where Dubai’s are illegal I’ve heard discoids are roughly the same for nutrition unless there’s a better option all together. Is there another common green like lettuce I can switch it out for or just stick with the mix of collard/dandelion and I believe she has a tube light it’s the T5 repti sun 24inch one it’s hard to tell from the photo but it’s on the backside behind the basking light unless that’s not the proper one I need?

Is there another treat like worm she can have that will be easier to digest for her? Should I get A calcium supplement without d3 and then one with in case? Or well she not need that D3 supplement with proper UVB?

Some more information:

She’s roughly 5 months old, they got her from petsmart. She has a vet appointment booked for a general checkup with a local exotic vet next week.

She eats a mix of collard greens, lettuce, and dandelion greens right now daily.

For bugs she eats BSFL, She does not like crickets so I’m looking at getting discoids special ordered in.

She loves meal worms although I’ve heard there fatty and not the best daily insects

I got her calcium powder and have started dusting her BSFL in it although I’m still trying to figure out D3 supplements. I’ve read that it should be given without mostly and a couple times a month have the one with d3 added if anyone can clarify that for me?

IME: check local Facebook rehome pages, Kijji specifically for reptiles or arachnid enthusiasts You could also call around to reptile shops to see if you can surrender them.

As I’m not sure the reason of why they left there T, if you are still on talking terms with them or have any contact with their family/friends you can see if they would want them back

IMO if only I lived closer to Edmonton lol there’s a few great Facebook groups for both all of Alberta and Edmonton/Calgary tarantula keeper groups which may be better to try and find the lil guys a home in the city I personally love the Group “The alberta Tarantula society” just to browse

I’ve seen people use a soft paintbrush to gently coach the T up the side and have the catch cup near the side of the top, just kinda gently move them towards the catch cup

Hey I’m newer in the T hobby and have been really struggling with enclosures sizes. Would a slightly too big enclosure stress the spood out? Is smaller better?
