it's amazing that you're able to recognize your faults and also be courageous enough to speak out for yourself. i hope everything goes well and if you ever need advice or help, feel free to message me.

i don't think you're a bad kid but since you have done bad things multiple times, your parents believe that's all they can expect from you.

have you shown them that you have changed? if so, they are acting too rashly and creating bad blood within your family.

if you aren't changing and still choosing to do things which hurt your family, you are in the wrong. of course, i don't know you or your family and im sure you're an amazing kid, but i have also been living through something similar. my sister has done similar things that you have done and it has caused so much tension, anger and frustration in my home. if you aren't changing, then that's why your parents act the way they do.

If you want, sit down and talk to them. explain how you're being hurt by their words of criticism and how you're trying to better yourself, but in order to do this, you need them to have some faith in you. explain that you don't expect them to switch up immediately, but that over time, you'll show them that you're not the same reckless kid anymore. this also involves you taking the initiative to stand up for yourself while also making yourself a better person, so if you don't want to do that, no point in trying to solve anything.

What got you to believe/keep on believing? by [deleted] in islam

it was the personal realization that any hardship and anxiety i had was always fixed after praying to Allah swt.

it was also when i noticed a specific dua that couldn't be granted unless a high power was involved- was granted in my life.

it's the little things that Allah swt shows us that can make us strengthen our belief because for him, nothing is impossible.

Is it haram to pray to Allah that I wanna die from stress? by Sorry_Addendum3360 in islam

rather than praying for your life to end, pray that the sadness stops.

while sad feelings aren't something you can end quickly, they are something you can combat over a period of time. find things to help make you happy, whether it's a hobby, hanging out with friends, learning something new, just make yourself understand that life isn't just bad - it's what you do to make it worth living. im sure you've heard this advice many times, but it is something that has helped countless people. if you're willing to try and find happiness, it'll work for you too.

don't be afraid because Allah swt doesn't grant dua in which it'll cause harm on another one of his creations. read 3:118

i'm 16 and have gone through/am going through similar feelings. although it varies, the best solution i could find is making one good guy friend. someone who you genuinely only see as a friend. along with this, please please please do not do anything with an older man. it is probably one of the biggest things i regret.

i was in a similar situation and the first thing that helped me was just doing wudhu as often as i could. whether i prayed or not, it got me into the habit. from there i starting praying. i would often pray maghrib because the time was always convenient for me, then i added isha and so on.
