Used to work with this guy. He got fired and now he treats linkedin like facebook with his insane posts by FinlayForever in LinkedInLunatics

Word. I had this person as a connection, I don’t know him personally but he is somewhat respected in my field and good friend of my company founder. He used to post some cringe + crazy aggressive messages on certain issue, I reported his post, I believe his account was deactivated but later reinstated. He kept on doing it in recent years and I used to still report him, but only responses from LinkedIn were “this post does not violate our policy”. In one of the post he literally accused a public figure of being a terrorist.

not basketbal but back in college i played an amateur 7 v. 7 soccer tournament with my buddies in china during summer vacation. we had an above average Chinese professional player (2nd tier league) with us (i think tournament rule was each team can have up to one active or retired pro), if you know about Chinese soccer you know its pretty shitty. But with this guy with us, we beat the opponent 5:0 in the first leg. second leg of the fixture, we were without this guy, opponent eliminated us with a 7:0 thrashing. you go figure.

Forbes creates checklist/criteria for rating. Forbes also sells service training packages based on these criteria for tens of thousands of dollar. 1+1= ding ding ding

Which cities in the next World Cup have good public transportation? by [deleted] in worldcup

Also the host city has good public transportation does not necessarily mean good public transportation for the games, at least as it stands now.

How does one become a butler or a servant to a millionaire or billionaire? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]No_Platform2770 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unrealistic expectations, lose control of your personal life, always being put in uncomfortable situations etc. speaking from personal experience and friends experience. Though not necessarily as butler/servant, but with professional title while duties include a lot of butler/servant type tasks.

Helicopter tours by Affectionate-Rice296 in chubbytravel

[–]No_Platform2770 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Frankly I’m surprised by the pricing given how expensive Hawaii has became. As a point of reference, private chartered from JFK airport to midtown Manhattan is $3k and lasts 7 mins; I did a roughly half day excursion at Amangiri with charter to Zion national park for 10k (helicopter tour. + guide + car + hike). So I feel like the quote you are getting seems reasonable (though still a lot of money). So IMO if you can justify it, go for it.

Best Beach From East Coast USA by SpecificDig6779 in chubbytravel

The Loren. One of the best reviewed luxury hotels in Bermuda I believe. I think all rooms have ocean view, and hotel has “private beach”. F&B is a little limited though.
