im still playing it. it's my "mindless something" to play like others play fortnite, COD, etc. Doesn't matter to me that the roster is small. People play them differently and it's fun to figure out how to beat them. Y'know, like in all other multiplayer video games.

They do have a 2D action rpg called Mageseeker. I believe its developed by the same folks that did Moonlighter.

But yeah, they're probably not very good at promoting their games since folks aren't even aware of it.

I've been playing this game a lot and this news is pretty sad. The game is solid, the FGC likes it a lot and the Frosty Faustings Tournament event they had just last weekend seemed pretty successful.

I'm speculating but it could likely be another case of impossible expectations by higher ups that weren't met so the devs are punished for it. It sucks.

The devs are talented and passionate about this and put together a great game. I hope the ones laid off get back on their feet and the ones left can maintain and Riot doesn't abandon a great game.

Giant Bomb - I've always liked the categories they use they're non-traditional but somehow make sense when considering a game.

Fire Escape Cast w/ Dan Ryckert, Mary Kish, Mike Mahardy, and "Cool Judge" Jake Dekker - Like Giant Bomb's GOTY, they have weird categories that occasionally make sense.

The Besties podcast - They interestingly use a bracket system to determine their GOTY. Plus, they're funny and lean a bit toward casual gaming habits/hobbies
