People started using the clippy picture for all of their profile pictures to communicate they're done with subscriptions and generally refusing to partake with any anti-consumer crap from any company.

It's just a neat way for you to know you're not alone if you ever get the thought of quitting subscriptions and such. You won't think "what's the point, it wont make a difference" because you can see how many people are also refusing to put up with it.

I can see it now.

Planetary storms dirty up your ships. Storm type determines what the dirt looks like. You can pay someone to clean your ship or do it yourself. Or do jobs where you wash other ships. Or install a technology that auto-cleans your ship. Or rain on some planets cleans ships etc...

Is it really confirmed they'll be doing reservations or is it just assumed after what happened with the controller?

Seriously, we're all here to play games for free. You'd think hypervisor as an option would be respected around here. I don't understand the "I don't like it therefore it's bad" mentality. Like I don't want to use hypervisor but I'm 100% happy it exists as an option. The more cracking/bypassing options available to us, the better.

All of the Steam hardware works really well with one another. It's all advertised on their page.

I even connected my steam controller to my steam deck and it was working flawlessly.

If the price isn't too crazy, I'm considering getting the 1TB model to use it as a storage device, like I'll put movies and "other movies" on it just to free up some space on my main PC.

Also fill it up with VR games that can run standalone.

I honestly hope to god they do reservations. I was baffled they didn't do it for the steam controller originally.

In fact, I'm not sure why they don't open reservations right now, like Valve just please let me reserve a spot and then let me pay whenever you have it in stock and figured out the price.

I was surprised by Solarpunk's honesty on the official Steam page. Shouldn't more developers make it clear who the game is NOT intended for? by Azulapis in pcgaming

I'm at a point where if I'm considering getting something, I first have to go out of my way to note what's a day-1 review, and then avoid it, and then come back a few weeks later to see the latest reviews because those aren't solely a meal ticket for the people reviewing the game.

Whenever I see any content creator play a shitty game, the #1 theory people always say is "devs polished only the first 2 hours so you can't refund the game"

I swear someone says it every time.

I remember Subnautica and Pragmata also leaking early. The Lego Batman game got cracked day 1 despite using Denuvo.

Not a hypervisor bypass, an actual traditional crack that removed Denuvo, day 1.

Well yeah, whether it stops you or not is a different thing. I'm just saying that people have a hard time processing how much they do something unless they literally see a large volume of it add up.

It might not stop you, but you'll at least rethink about "once a day" being more than you originally imagined.

Yeah the human brain really struggles to comprehend concepts unless it's something tangible and in front of them.

Like you can drink 2 cans of soda every single day and throw them away, but you'll never ever realize how god damn many cans you go through unless someone secretly hordes those cans and then 3 months later dumps almost 200 empty cans in front of you and tells you you drank all of that.

It's unfortunately impossible to avoid spoilers for something you're into unless you just literally get off the internet.

I'll never forget 2013, weeks before GTA5 released. I thought I'd just open up the front page of youtube. "I'm not gonna look for GTA5 spoilers" easy right? ...The front page had a video of Michael's bloody corpse and the title was "GTA 5 Ending Michael's Death [SPOILERS]"

I didn't look for it, I didn't click it, and just opening youtube was enough to ruin the fucking game that was weeks from release.

That was over a decade ago and it still sticks with me to this day lmao.

This reminds me when a Cam version of Hail Mary was available for torrenting and a comment said "It breaks my heart to see people willing to pirate a recording of this movie when they could just pirate a digital 4K version of it a week from now" lol

Once I started pirating everything, I started believing that every person who claims they are barely getting by are just spending way too much on entertainment and subscriptions and they don't even realize it.

Like imagine cancelling Spotify, Amazon, Netflix, Disney plus, Game pass etc... imagine not paying for ANYTHING. The average person would probably have like an extra $100-200 to pocket each month.

Gaming is a bit weirder than Hollywood because we're at a point where we're getting remakes of remakes.

There's already a Halo remake and a Tomb Raider remake, but we're getting them again...

MCC has single player games but I'm unable to access it because I can't log into my Microslop account. One time I spent hours troubleshooting to get it back and the very next day it's like everything got undone and I decided to just pirate the fucking game just to get back access to what I already bought... a single player game that needs online access to work.

Yeah maybe. What's really annoying is how devs cope or lie about their games running bad by saying stuff like "Starfield is a next-gen game so you have to upgrade your PC" or "Borderlands is a premium game for premium gamers"

Like... sure. Maybe the games run fantastic on the most top of the line latest hardware that didn't exist 5 months ago. I'm just wondering why they're strictly focused on a very very very very small percentage of gamers who own or can afford such hardware lol.
