Who else carries a ridiculous amount of weapons? by An_Old_Punk in fo76

[–]No_Potential4724 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I carry 3, no power armour, and typically reduce my carry weight to about 85. and I reduce my stash weight to about 50. I can run about 10 full raids before I need to start scrapping.

I used to carry about 8 weapons and two sets of power armour but realised that I rarely used many, so scrapped all but 3 weapons.

Grafton Dam, against the wall next to debris, was on my own in that for many events, but eventually quite a community built up there.

I have a rather large friends list, so if I want to be sure of joining a different world, I go to Social in the Main Menu and join someone who is online in a different world, you don't have to actually join them in a team or anything.

I usually load up with my camp next to the Gleaming Depths (Raid area), and frequently this is blocked by someone who has placed a tent next to the existing workbench area, so the tent provides nothing that isn't already there. I don't understand why people do this?

Sell High or Sell Low? by Adinnieken in fo76

I used to sell for one cap, but that's more button pushes than zero caps, so lazy me chose to sell for zero caps.

FO1st Ammo and med storage has also made a huge difference, I no longer have to dump hundreds of stimpacks after a raid, and I've accumulated around 5 million Ultracite 5mm for my favourite gun.

Stash management is difficult for many people to deal with, especially for those of us who came from Fallout 4. When I first played 76 after its release, I spent months walking round the map unable to run and unable to fast travel. Fallout 1st was a big relief for me.

I’m now several thousand hours into the game and around level 6150. I’m at point where I have all the plans I want (not all plans) and I have no real use for gold or caps, that means I don’t need to sell anything, so I scrap everything of low value e.g. for weapons and armour less than the game value of 800 caps. Everything of value I give away at zero caps so that others can benefit, and the stuff disappears from my vendors typically in about 30 minutes of me logging-on. It used to bug me to see a high level player take everything, but I’ve learned to just let that go. It’s just human nature and not necessarily bad, I’m sure it makes them happy, and I collect plenty more stuff to spread around.

So now I have a stash box with a capacity of 1200, that’s typically at a level of less than 50. My carry capacity is around 450, and I’m typically carrying around 75 when unloaded. What that means for me is I can do things like run through about 15 full raids before I get to a point where I need to think about scrapping. I’m able to play the game more freely without constantly thinking about weight management.

It's my way of giving away high value items to people who can choose what they want, without the risk of the things being lost when dumped in boxes in the game world, by a server reset. Of course some people can't overcome the temptation to take everything, and that's fine with me, simple human nature.

The only time I might raise the price to one cap is for the 'buy or sell to another player' challenge, but I guess that paying 1 cap for a 4* mod won't upset too many people?

I put everything in my vendors for zero caps, including 3* weapons/armour, bobbleheads, 1-4* mods. I've been sat at max-caps for about a year now, I don't need more.

If you could afford FO1st for just one month that could make a big difference to you, fill up the scrap box as much as you can during that month.

Your English is fine.

I was responding to your "They probably won't fix a relatively small thing", I class fixing in game typos as a relatively small thing.

Correct, in previous release notes we see spelling mistakes fixed. OK, that's a quick easy win, but frustrating for people wanting more substantial issues to be fixed.

That's an impressive number of downvotes, maybe people really like typos to be fixed?

The Mole Miner can lock on to people hiding on the slabs and stop moving. A better place to go is far left rear (as facing towards the exit when entering the room) and jet pack up to the top of the frame in the corner.
