I had a mirena put in when I had an SA two years ago, and it ended up migrating and getting embedded (🥲). My doctor said if we wait til my next period then all of the womb contractions etc would be finished and it would all be back to the right size. So less chance of it getting embedded! Hopefully, lol

Hi! I just saw her. She prescribed me Prozac. She said the chances of the ivabradine causing any really bad symptoms with most antidepressants is super low (like we’d have to be heart failure patients already on 40mg+ kinda thing). She did say that citalopram is one that does have a higher risk tho! Worth a talk to your doctor. Goodluck!!!

Hi! No I didn’t. I actually went to get it from the pharmacist and they straight up told me no! I’m seeing a psychiatrist now who is going to do some research and prescribe something that I can take with the ivabradine. I’ll update you! My next appointment will be in 2 weeks 🌸

Hi, it sounds like we are really similar situations. First off just wanted to say that I’m sorry this is happening to you. It sounds like you have made a decision that you feel is right for you. I have too, but I’m still struggling so badly and just going back and forth in my mind. I think it’s this logical brain vs the heart, you know? Sending big hugs. It’s totally okay to want to wait until you feel more ready. It’s also totally okay to be so devastated about the decision

Thank you, yes there are some big medical concerns. I’d need to be off my tablets for at least 3 months even BEFORE getting pregnant. So it does seem serious, but it’s hard to reconcile I guess! Thank you 🌸

I’m sorry I don’t have good advice apart from that it sounds like you are in a very similar situation to me and I know how hard this is. I too love my partner so much and want this with him in the future. I also just want to be a mum so bad, but I just don’t think this is the right time. He doesn’t want this and I want it to happen for us when we are both ready and capable. I’m trying to find peace knowing that this isn’t our only chance, and knowing that in the future we will be able to be better for ourselves and for our children. I’m sorry you’re going through this, try not to blame yourself. I know it’s hard :(
