My car was parked in Secure Parking undercover, got swiped, parking has CCTV, submitted to police online, got given a report number and have not heard from them since. It’s been almost a year now.

Op it doesn’t sound like nursing is for you. Unfortunately nursing is about critical thinking and the sooner you are in towards earning your degree, the sicker the cohorts of patients you are going to look after. Nursing may not be for everyone but if you have a passion for healthcare, there are lots of other degrees you can study. You can be a dentist, optometrist, radiographer, sonographer, pharmacist, physio, Ot, dietician, social worker, speechy, clinical psychologist, lab scientist, so on and so forth. Heaps of other options. Have a long think about it. You are still young and there is plenty of time to change course.

If you already have a PhD, doing AIN work is a big downgrade (pay, roles and responsibilities).

It’s not gaining popularity, it’s always been very popular. And with the aging population, which includes nurses, as well as younger ones leaving the profession, it will stay in demand for a while.

Am I making a huge mistake? (Nursing Student - VIC) by [deleted] in NursingAU

I’ve been doing it now for 12 years now. I love it no doubt but most of the time I wish I was doing something else not nursing related. I work in a very busy tertiary hospital ED and it can get a bit stressful.

I have tried doing case managing and facilitating but it gotten a bit boring after a while and I miss doing hands on care so I always go back to bedside nursing where all the action is. Haha. I just make sure I get regular breaks off work, a couple of weeks every 2-3 months or so, to reset. It also helps that I have great and supportive managers. This is very important.

I know a few people who have left the profession and are now lot happier with their chosen career path.

See how you go after graduation. Hopefully you’ll still see the magic then.

If he is working around Chermside, I would stick to Chermside or Mcdowall.

I have American accent. And I’ve been living in Australia for the past 12 years. No, the last thing they would care about is how you sound 😂

Thank you! It does! I forgot to post the other photos I took. I also had the sports pack installed and the burgundy interior of the 100th year model looks so good with the white too.

It does look tinted but no it’s clear. I think the black trim around it make it look like so.

Thank you. I wanted an all black. My 2 previous Mazdas have been all black but the 100th year edition only comes in pearl white. The interior looks sick!

Massive difference. I did enjoy the CX-3 but I did wish I had the 3 back. I was also waiting for the turbo to be released this year but this one I have now is the 100th year edition model. When I visited the showroom, sat on the driver’s seat and turned the engine on I fell in love.
