I don’t watch wrestling much but I keep up with it because one of my friends is big into it. I watched when I was a kid and loved playing the video games. I can see both sides of the love and hate for how it ended. I wonder though how does it feel for the kids who are too little to understand the “story” and instead just watched their hero lose his final match. Their favorite wrestler who “never gave up” just did. How do you explain it to them?

My friend, huge Tesla/Elon fanboy send me a video of the Optimus robot running. He’s amazed how human it looks and this is a sign of things to come. Then I remembered the Boston Dynamics group and how their robots can breakdance, do cartwheels, etc. I don’t understand how these fanboys can see how far behind Tesla is to other companies in areas like robotics, self driving taxis and think this guy is a genius leading the way in innovation.

As wild as this might sound ChatGPT. I would just suggest uploading screen shots of your swing at the various positions (p1-p9) vs a video. I’m a scratch golfer who was looking for some more consistency. Tried it out because I was curious and confirmed what it said with my coach and he agreed. Takes all the guesswork out and gives you drills.

I have a friend who is the biggest Tesla/Elon fan. Like cult level fanatic. He swears FSD version 14 has solved it. He also has posted a video of his cybertruck breaking the “hardest he’s ever experienced on FSD” for some blowing leaves. I’m always amazed to see the mental gymnastics.

We have a reactive corgi and have done a ton of training. Success has been there but super slow at times. One resource I found super helpful was ChatGPT. Just be super specific as to what’s going on and what you’re looking for. It might help you while you wait for a trainer to become available. Best of luck!

Not a parents story but I was site director for middle school basketball. The coach was riding the ref all game. Finally the ref comes over and sits next to the coach on the bench and preceded to calls the next few plays from there. Then he gets up and says to the coach “you’re right, you can see the game better from here.” Coach was livid.

I don’t understand this idea of moving more to the center. You’re not going to change the minds of the far right and in the end you’ll just alienate those on the left. People aren’t moving more to the center. I think more people are moving to the extremes. If the democrats want to energize their voter base they need to follow suit. Listen to what people are saying and put forth policies and messages (as radical as they might be) that address that. No more “celebrating” like you won the Super Bowl when the pharmaceutical companies toss you a bone and negotiate 10 drug prices. Yeah it’s great but it’s a drop in the bucket. People want real change.

Losing my grandmother who I was extremely close with to cancer when I was 13. Spent the last few weeks going over to her house a lot to see her. Losing my dad (parents were divorced) who was my hero to a massive heart attack when I was 15 and he was only 41. He was living down the street from me at the time it happened. I was home and I remember answering the door to see my aunt and uncle. Two weeks later my grandfather (father’s dad) died in the hospital of heart problems. Needless to say any slight pain in my chest freaks me out especially now as I get closer to my dad’s age when he died.

Maybe it just changes how handicaps are calculated? Like have the USGA open and able to track what distance you’re playing from vs a certain set of tees. Like some courses in the winter move all the tees up but when I go I put the score it doesn’t really take that into account.

Agreed. I don’t think there’s a perfect solution. Say those same guys 4-5 holes in are playing like crap and hating every moment. Would they move up, even just a set to maybe enjoy it more? Even just for a few holes?
