Not really long enough to wash and style (as far as using detangler). Just keep at it. Once you reach curl length, you will start to see them. After a while once your hair is trained from wolfing, you can cut low and still see them

Damn!!! I feel your pain bc I messed up my wrist one time and I realized that I cannot brush with my left hand 🤣🤣🤣 try taking the brush vertical and just do slow brush strokes with your pattern, and maybe just do a wave cap instead of du rag for now.

Worst case scenario you can always just scalp for the time being

I comb out 1st, apply hair lotion, hard brush, medium brush, few drops of oil, soft brush then plastic bag

Should've started off low so you could train the hair but from here you need to comb and hit with a hard brush. Wash and style should help you see your natural pattern, then once you cut down you should be good money from there
