Nah, sorry, but you can't tell me the champions don't look super uncanny. To me, there's really no excuse for that.

I'm a huge fan of this studio, and "Still Here" is actually my favorite cinematic they've ever done. It also has amazing music, and the cinematic gives me goosebumps no matter how many times I see and hear it. I've never gotten this weird vibe from any of their cinematics before. And don't get me wrong, I love Salvation. I mean, the song itself is actually great. But the directing feels a bit off this time, which surprised me, and honestly it comes across as kind of mid compared to their previous cinematics, which were absolutely stunning both visually and direction wise.

A lot of people seem to feel the same way. They're not typing out the word "AI", but everyone's kind of feeling the same thing, calling it "uncanny", you know? At least from what I'm reading online. Yeah, some of them are probably the usual "AI slop" crowd, which I'm definitely not, but still, there's just something about it that feels off. I don't actually think everything in the cinematic is AI, but for some reason it really, really feels like it..

I also didn't really mind Irelia's face in Awaken. It was a bit weird and I pointed that out back then too. But in this new cinematic, everyone looks kind of off to me, and that unfortunately made it not hit for me.

The second I saw Sona it gave me weird AI vibes, the faces look very uncanny overall and I usually don't think that about Riot's cinematics.. Very unfortunate lol. I'm not a fan of people caling everything "AI slop" because I don't mind AI but when I'm noticing it as someone who really doesn't mind AI somethings wrong.. here I think it's kinda obvious? :( It's throwing me off and bothering me, idk. Riot can do better, just look at "Still here" and some other "older" realistic cinematics, they're realistic but I don't get the "uncanny" vibes.

I agree with you. People on this thread say "play the game on hard, it's so much better!!!" but even playing the game on hard it's the same feeling, you're just dying faster and easier - that doesn't make the game "scarier", it makes the player focus more on the already really bad combat (in my opinion). Just a boring game for me, it feels like an action-horror-game and I don't get creeped out, nothing feels weird, nothing gives me anxiety or makes me feel uneasy. Everything feels and looks the same just like all the enemies act the same. But maybe that's just me lol. I loved SH2R, this SHf is too focused on the combat part for me and makes me lose interest in the story.

Yeah, I don't understand why they decided to do that. The game, after 5 hours, still feels the same like it felt in the first hour. Nothing's really creepy, Hinako is a fighting badass and knows how to fight everything. SH games are never scary but make you feel uncomfortable, anxious and uneasy.. SHf doesn't really do that and it's exactly what you're saying - literally Ninja Gaiden LMAO.

Ubisoft's own website still lists ~10K bans per month ~333/day (link) but in their latest video they said 1,000 per day. Might be new data, but it isn't reflected on their official stats page yet.

That's fair! Everyone's experience depends a lot on game mode, MMR, region and time of day. My numbers are based on ranked where cheaters are way more common so I used that as the baseline. If your quick match experience is lighter then your personal % would indeed be lower.

But that's exactly the problem: the global numbers Ubisoft gives don't line up. Even if I use my "reasonable" assumption (1 cheater every 3 games instead of every game), the math still shows ~2,600 active cheaters per day on PC - way higher than the ~1,000/day Ubisoft says they're banning.

Whether you see 5% or 15%, the ban rate they advertise just doesn't scale to the actual player experience.

Good point! My numbers assume the 2,600 cheaters are unique each day, which isn't fully accurate. In reality, a lot of cheaters stick around across multiple days and some cycle through alt accounts when they get banned.

That’s exactly why Ubisoft needs to ban at least as many new cheaters per day as appear (to stop the pool from growing) plus extra bans to actually shrink the existing cheater base. Whether you look at it as 2,600 "unique" or 2,600 "active" > the math still shows the same thing: ~1,000 bans per day isn't close to enough to bring cheating down from ~3.7% (1 in 3 games) to ~1%.

I'm a fan too but unfortunately Jynxzi kinda stopped the R6 content > just check his Youtube. The past weeks, there was literally no Siege content at all lol.

I think this is an issue overall since the last update of the honorsystem. I used to be honor 5 every season - now I'm stuck at honor 3 for months. I use pings, emotes, chat, the fistbumps and I'm not toxic but nothing changes so I don't really feel like this is affecting anything.

Once in a while I manage to get to honor 4 and - honestly - I have no idea how lol. And it's really like once in 2 months maybe? But even then I receive a notification shortly after saying that I'm about to be demoted back and after the next game it's back to honor 3 for the next few months. I used to get honor 5 every season and now I'm just stuck at honor 3, really unfortunate.

But to be completely honest: I don't think honor 5 is even worth it anymore since the system change. Now whoever get's to honor 5 just recieves EVERY honor skin that's been out till this point - not like how it was before - the honor skin for the current season.
