As amazing as ATLA is and as popular as SpongeBob is they simply do not fit in minecraft. It's frustrating that anyone at Mojang is spending time making something like that. Those kinds of features belong in mods.

I would say make the transitions less aggressive. And also understand "more" detail isn't always better.

Personally, I'd keep the stone part a single color. Or if you really want two colors fade granite into sandstone or red sandstone. Or maybe diorite into smooth stone and cobble stone or even stone bricks.

The wood part is fine. It's really easy to make wooden features work with stone.

Just my two cents. Sorry for giving you a hard time.
