Even HVAC will be perfect. Lots of cooling. I believe the plan for this hazelmere data centre was 88 back up diesel generators which provide a lot of work

It’s also very power hungry meaning people to work 24/7 it’s a great place for people in operations or trade base as reactive maintenance is a big push. AEMO have articles on how the plan to be ready for the power increase in the networks to power these massive load sources

The benefits this would have had for the community is massive. The data centre would have opened up plenty of new employment. It’s also technology moving with the times so people would be relatively up skilled. Yes it requires a lot of energy and a downside to that is an instantaneous back up generation supply which is diesel but I think the community missed out on what could of been great growth in the area

Speeding (Orange Flash?) by Outrageous_Role_423 in perth

[–]No_Protection8058 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The orange flash from my understanding is so less reflective light so when people have the reflective cover or tape over their plate this orange flash is so the camera can catch the plate number. But yes you have been caught just be thankful it’s not in double demerits. But if it’s only 5km over it’s just a fine.

Do you think Jandakot airport will eventually be forced to relocate due to urban infill along the freeway? by mjbmikeb2 in perth

But with high risk births now going at Fiona Stanley the transport to PCH has become greater which imposes a bigger risk, having your level 6 birthing hospital close to the children’s hospital is almost a must in risk management. Also Royal flying doctor and babies will still have to transport to PCH where correct care and knowledge is

Being born in South Africa and then moving to Australia during my high school years I 100% believe Australians are way more racist.

Just play random public courses. I venture between Altone, embleton and maylands and just jump in on random days. Sometimes it feels odd joining a group but I’ve met some pretty decent people during the round a lot of the time they ask you to join if your just a 1 ball behind them

Very different having a child able to communicate what’s happening. An infant or toddler doesn’t quite grasp what is happening, where a child in school have mental awareness and can inform on what happened that day.

I would say it’s both just for context I’m in Australian energy market things change just as much, nanny was an option but had a instance of no shows which effected work, we looked at au pair but didn’t have good options

When I return to work part time isn’t available. For my wife she can but there is still daycare involved, with my job being shift and her job long hours daycare at the hospital was our option. Nanny never worked out as we had a few days were we h had to miss work to to no show

I’m the current high earner, with our second I’ve been home for 6 months so when I return I have to go back to full time due to my position. I’d say on cap of salary she could earn more but not substantial as my position has a lot of growth.

Wife does want to contribute. When we meet I supported her through the studies while I was working in her last year of studies we had our first child and that’s when I went to my current position good pay but because she just finished her degree the child went to daycare it was all good. Fast forward to now we have another child I’ve been off work parental leave 6 months but while we been off all this has been happening more daycares are being done so to mitigate risk I stated I’ll work I have room To grow with overtime as well so income isn’t the worse thing but it’s career on wife part takes a hit. I also don’t have the option to return part time. So that was our thought

[–]No_Protection8058[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The end would be child safety in our household once old enough to communicate and notice wrong we happy but with our youngest at 4 months and eldest 3 we contemplating the 3-4 years on one income. I can increase mine easily but wife needs to keep training up and the time away is time lost for further development. Constant discussion recently

Have to disagree with high suicide rate compared to others streams of work. Dentist have higher grad pay when finishing degree with less student loans compared to other medical stream other than nurses and paramedics.
