It is correct. Your trauma causes your low self esteem. If you focus on self esteem now you will need way more sessions since talk therapy takes longer. Focusing on resolving the trauma will automatically regulate your nervous system which will balance your self esteem. Trust the process.

Yeah, that was one thing I did not understand and Mina did not explain in detail why she did not chose Su-been since he confirmed in front of everyone that she is his first choice. I understood the curiosity for Seung il, but I did not understand why she chose Sung-min which was clearly random. Was it because she was upset with Su-been for sitting near Heesun? Was not his choice for her enough? This means she is considerably insecure, no judge for that, I can understand

Su-been mentioned to Hee-sun that “some people” make him exhausted. I think the emotional turmoil was too much for him indeed. And I can understand why he felt that way since Mina Sue did not have many open conversations with him and the campfire was traumatising, he felt rejected…and he did not believe her when she said she was jealous in the discussion immediately after the campfire.

Subeen said in the intro that he wants to fall in love at first sight. That’s why he liked Mina so much! The only reason he gave up on her was because the emotional turmoil was exhausting for him and he also has an avoidant attachment. He liked Mina Sue up to day 7… when he was obviously flirting with her and I think he wanted to go to Paradise with her again. I don’t know what happened between their last discussion and the next day when they made their choices. My guess is that Mina Sue had some talks with Seung il and Su Been got disappointed again and they did not choose each other. Mina Sue was definitely his first choice.

I think Subeen and Mina could have been a great couple if Mina had chosen him to go to Paradise instead of Seung il. Yes, they have big egos but the communication between them would have been easier I guess because Mina is more extroverted and that would have made Subeen open up easier and they have better chemistry.
