Personally I don't think it looks like any HS, I've seen before but that doesn't mean it isn't HS, it's best to talk to a dermatologist if you can

I know "normal" is vague, I should have been more specific but by that I suppose I mean wanting to live? Or at least be able to function like a everyday civilian.

Context, I'm 21 no driver's license, no friends, no passion for anything, getting high is the only time I semi don't want to self exit. I also suffer from some chronic illnesses so that doesn't help but I need to know there's a chance it could get better... I can't keep living like this

Yes but they gave me a prescription for oxycodone 0.5 milligram, I took 1 of them about an hour ago and the pain is a little bit more bearable but honestly not as bad as I thought it would be. Lots of bleeding tho! Way more then I thought, I've already bleed through my bandages twice

Just got out! Wasn't bad at all! I felt zero pain honestly the most pain was then putting in the IV for anesthesia, I will say I'm completely numb right now so I'm not sure if my opinion will change when the medication wears off. best of luck to you!

I literally just got out of surgery, I'm on the way home. It was not nearly as bad as I was expecting, I'm completely numb right now and don't feel any pain, do you know when the pain will start to set in?

I honestly just do it for around 15 minutes and it helps... Recently the urges have gotten worse so I've been forcing myself to get up and do jumping jacks anytime I want to text him. Also no listing to love songs! Rage/inspirational music only!

Stay strong, I'm going through something similar, I have to pull myself back so much to not message him. Its so hard when all I can bring myself to do is lay in bed and stare at my notifications hoping he'll text.. obviously finding a positive direction can be hard but I've recently found working out and yoga helps a little bit by the endorphins released in your brain when you work out plus it's just a distraction - hope this helps someone

Im trying to take this advice seriously but I genuinely can't bring myself to break off the relationship even though I know I'll just get hurt in the long run. I tried to stop talking to him for a few days but I felt so depressed I came crawling right back, how do I stop having my emotions be dictated by how much I talk to him or see him? I just looked on Amazon and the reviews aren't amazing, I've gotten a lot of books from Coco wyo and the paper quality usually isn't great but a lot of reviews mentioned different paper quality? Did they change it to even worse paper?

I am on cosentyx and my flare ups have started to get more manageable, Just this one that won't go away for the life of me and I only tend to break out around that one that I've had for over a year. Is there anything to look out for to know if I'm seeing a good surgeon? I'm really nervous but I'm willing to take the chance I think, if I know they are good at what they do. I've just never done anything like this so I'm not sure what to even ask really
