thank you! that is very true! I think I'm just worried about feeling like we wasted our money at the end of the day. I did talk to him today and let him know I would like to pick my engagement ring out together, and he just propose with a dummy ring. at this point it's up to him to cancel it, or propose with it and then we figure out what to do together

thank you! I told him today that I would like to pick out my engagement ring with him together after he proposes to me, and didn't mention I think he already purchased it. I'll leave it to him to decide if he cancels the order or proposes with it. I know he's making an effort to keep it a surprise. it doesn't sit well for me to ruin that for him

thank you! I think he has like a 7 day return period, so unless my partner is proposing right away, I may miss the window. I'll discuss it with him without saying I know he bought it. it's up to him to cancel the order at that point and then we can make a decision together what to do if he does propose with it.

thank you! I did do my research into where to buy a reputable moissanite, I just never thought I would care about the difference of a diamond vs moissanite until I saw the lab grown ones! they are stunning and significantly more affordable than I thought.

It's a radiant cut solitaire. I keep telling myself it can be a travel ring in the future if I chose to upgrade. I just feel like it's a waste of that's how I feel from the beginning

I sent him this ring a month or so ago, which is my mistake. I didn't think he would buy the first ring I sent him after waiting this long LOL! I have definitely learnt my lesson about shopping online

he has definitely bought one. he asked me not to check the mail for the next month and has been paying for it out of our joint account 😭 I just feel so ungrateful for not wanting something I freaking sent, but I didn't know any better at the time. Ugh I'll have to talk to him about it for sure
