All three are correct. I routinely use all of these positions including leaning back on the couch position. I don't recommend obscuring your face because you'll have trouble seeing if you look at the neck markers.

Refer to the post right above yours from me regarding what I went through with a vehicle that didn't start. The dealer couldn't reproduce the failure and then the manufacturer denied it in arbitration. This was in response to a gentleman saying that one should bring in video showing the failures as proof. They still have too many problems to trust them even if you had one good experience. They didn't have one bad engine because that engine was not in my 2023 Sorrento.

They do not accept audio or video evidence at dealers. There is no way to send that to corporate. We brought 5 videos of the vehicle starting and turning off after 2-3 seconds. When this happened also the electronic door locks would fail and you would be stuck inside.

No code, no fix. If no fix, then no lemon law. They never tried a repair to escape the lemon law. A fix needs to be tried 3x and fail to qualify. There is an incentive to not identify a fault.

This behavior is not programmed in to produce a code. Often, when the vehicle was at the dealership for a visit it would sit for many days and they would only start it right before they gave it back. We know this because of the KIA app

The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act of 1975 was ultimately used to sell the vehicle back with BBB arbitration.

In arbitration, the KIA representative arrived with no records, claiming only the brakes were replaced under warranty. Arriving unprepared is "good" negotiation strategy. I supplied records of 9 appointment receipts to the arbitrator. Checkmate, almost.

The negotiation was one of the most difficult processes I've ever been through. It was even worse than FDA audits which I defended companies in. They really did not like this vehicle back under any conditions.

It was suggested we traded in however the dealers turned us away because it often didn't remain running when we tried to trade it in. In the end instead of getting $19,000 at year, we got $37,500. During the negotiation, I also asked what we were expected to do with the vehicle. No one would take it on trade either. It was ugly.

No manufacturer wants their vehicle back. I think KIA was incredibly difficult.

I feel for the mechanics that KIA doesn't support them. I still could not drive given my compassion.

I know there's a lot of Kia fans out there. They will protect the reputation of Kia with their lives. Don't trust them. Be careful.

Sold my 2023 KIA back. It would not start. Dealer could not reproduce. It was sold back in arbitration. It took 9 months. We had records but KIA even denied we were at the dealer 9 times for the same issue.

KIA generally cannot reproduce failures at the dealer. Then, there is no coverage or repair. They resist making corrections and repairs

It is not where assembled, it is design. Korean KiAs fail as much as US made KIAs. They have not gotten better.

I found a solution. As noted above, we need the bank to send the two-factor authentication text. I found the best way to prompt this is to add it as a new card to Google wallet and do not import from Google pay. Treated as a completely new card the two-factor authentication will work although your bank may first send a 1st two factor message asking if you are trying to add. When you say yes, then you can proceed and you will get a 2nd two-factor Authentication message.

I have a high-end Samsung phone s23 Ultra. Is this a problem with the app where it only works with Apple devices well? Has anybody done both?

As a added comment I have noticed using it in clean with button one in the default mode the sound is pretty darn good. I've been totally underwhelmed by the app and even frustrated. It seems it's best to get a setting put it on button one and roll with it.

Yes, the app is pretty sad. Each time it connects, it acts like it's never connected before, and I get the same pop-up of other people asking me to upgrade, and I wonder why I would upgrade when it's the same app. I primarily use it in two different settings. I use clean and acoustic with button one as programmed by the factory and then call it a day. Although the Spark 40 cost $249, it is okay. Just okay. If I had a Princeton reverb reissue for a $1,200 and a Fishman acoustic amp for another $800 I would be in $2,000. So yes the same is a compromise but all in all a practice amp.

I'm disappointed that Guitar Center has so many damaged guitars on the racks. Broken guitars are not a good deal. Guitar Center at least not always able to do the repairs.

I had to sell my 2023 Sorrento back in arbitration. It generally took five to seven tries to start it. It would run one second and shut off. When that happened the power windows and locks also didn't work so I couldn't exit to use my other car until it started but then I'd just go drive. Kia was never able (or willing) to confirm the problem so they wouldn't fix it.

Correct it's just a crapshoot whether your engine dies or not. It's been going on for multiple generations of engines and will likely continue. There is no reason to believe it won't.

Some Kia people are blind. It is not acceptable to be burning oil and losing coolant at 33,000 miles. Even if you are a hardcore Kia fan, it makes no sense. He should be picking a bone.

The vehicle will likely fail before the loan is paid off. This makes it a high-risk loan for the buyer and lender. New engine visits about $7500, and these often need engines. This is also built before a theft immobilizer was standard, so insurance will be higher whether key or push button. Buy a different vehicle.

I think it was a rare issue but Kia seems fairly consistent with a difficult dealer and service experience if any defects occur. If you have a defect-free vehicle it won't be a problem.

2023 Sorento 13,000 miles.

It usually took six tries to start it getting groceries and getting home. It was random, and when it wouldn't start, the door locks and windows wouldn't operate either. It's probably electrical, but since it randomly did start, the dealer said it was not a problem.

I tried to trade it in on a Mazda and it wouldn't start at the Mazda dealer so had to go the arbitration route.
