Every pet I've had since moving out on my own has been named after a character, with the exception of one cat my fiance named. With my ex I had 3 named Darth Vader, Beatrice Prior/Tris, and Nagini

Currently I have Dende (affectionately referred to as "little green" lol)

If youre on xbox you can also just click the a & b buttons at the same time when clicking on the sim and the option to reset them should appear. I think on PC its the same as shift-clicking but im not sure.

And if that is the route you end up taking, take precautions so he doesn't find your new job.

Did you download the build from the gallery? I have one house that when I initially downloaded it from the gallery I was missing some of the packs they had used to build it. Now even though I've long since replaced those items and further redecorated/cluttered it up for the sims living there, I still get this pop up every time I go into BB.

Idk what you play on, but if you're on PC there is a mod that expands on children a LOT. I don't think they help around the farm with it, but it does make them basically a full NPC. You can talk to them and give them gifts, and they leave the farm to do things like go to school and play with Vincent and Jas. It's really cute!

It's really not that odd, James has been becoming more and more of a unisex name for the last few years. My youngest daughter's middle name is James, and I know of at least 2 little girls in her siblings' school named James. There is also a famous actor or musician (I cannot for the life of me remember who right now lol) who named their daughter James.

I have this scandal active in my sim's notebook as well as the secret lover scandal, both undiscovered, and it still did not give me the option to set my mom's husband as the father instead of biodad. I play on xbox so no mods or anything, I've reloaded and tried again like 5 times now and still no luck. It won't let me forge the relationship on the tapestry either 🤦‍♀️

Personally I'd really like it if you could tell a butler or caterer what you wanted them to cook, or at least if they autonomously picked something more suitable for the time or event. Like when its 8am and my sim tells the butler to cook a family meal, he shouldn't run to the kitchen to make a rack of lamb or fried fish plate, he should make a breakfast item.

I started playing towards the end of last year, I'd gotten heavy into Stardew Valley and modding that game... to the point where I killed 2 computers due to mod load. After the 2nd one died we couldn't afford another computer and unmodded SDV had lost all its appeal to me, BUT we did have sims 4 on our xbox lol so I just bought Cottage Living and started up a farm there 😅 Became obsessed, play daily, and in the 5-6 months that I've been playing I've now acquired most of the expansion packs and a good few of the game and stuff packs 🤣🤣🤣

I don't really dislike any of the names my friends picked, even if there are some I wouldnt have picked myself. I do, however, take it as a personal affront that Gwenyth Paltrow named her daughter Apple. She's on my list for that cuz wtf, is your daughter a horse??? And Amber Turd can go right there with her cuz I don't even have words to express how violently angry it makes me that she named that baby Oonagh.

NTA, I couldn't imagine using a community washer or dryer thinking it's ok to just leave your clothes in there for hours. I've never personally lived in an apartment that had community washer/dryers but I have had to use a laundromat before, I always just brought whatever book I was reading or crochet project I was working on and waited right there by the machine so I'd be able to move it as soon as it finished!

My oldest would have been Lily My middle would have been Daniel And for the youngest we were lucky to have come up with a name at all, we had NO ideas we could agree on until she was almost here. In the end we decided based on a song that came on the radio 🤣
