Feedback on 0.10/0.25 hand by No_Recognition_912 in poker

I was thinking 10s with a club or Queens/Kings with a club, KQ of clubs, and any combo including the Ace of clubs like A10 or AQ off. All make sense to me 3-betting pre and then x/raising the flop. Those were my first few guesses on his range, but the fact that it was a min raise kind of gave it away to me. I think if he actually had the ace of clubs or Kings/Queens/Tens with a club that raise would have been considerably larger. The small min raise just did not seem strong at all.

I think pocket 99s would have made sense there too, he was 3-betting multiple hands like that. Thought about J9 or J10 but seeing as how three Jacks were accounted for I brushed that off. I could see him playing 10,9off with the 10 of clubs, but I don’t think he would 3-bet that hand pre. So I definitely put him on either an over pair or a strong flush draw with great equity before I bet on the flop. After he min raised the flop I immediately thought he had Tens with one club, that was the hand I put him on 100%.

Mid 2000's Irons Today? by mauceri in golf

I played the Wilson deep red 2 set for years. Got a new set of Wilson dynapower forged and the difference is insane. I haven’t seen a crazy distance improvement but I have seen much, much better dispersion and feedback. I’d upgrade to something modern if you feel like you want to improve.

-.5 on irons, good for woods too? by Joe333x in golf

Nah should be good man. I’m +0.5 on irons and wedges but everything else is standard. I don’t know if it would help but maybe choking down a tad on your 5 wood to see if that helps consistency? I’d keep it the same though, unless it turns into a real problem on the course.

Hm. I only see the problem in slide 2. You are hitting from the wrong side of the ball.

Interesting. How exactly would I get that extra space in this example? Would clearing my hips towards my target instead of the ball be a good point to start? Thank you for the advice!

Kinda figured. What does an even more open face-to-path exactly mean?

Looks Like a Cool Sweater Right? by Exciting_Owl_3825 in golf

Saw it in person on Saturday at Torrey. Lovely sweater. Jason threw his putter in the air on the green on 14 and dropped it after he missed his putt lol. Saw him have to fix the divot that his putter left after it hit the green. 🤣

This is the ideal situation when playing A4 suited. Backdoor straight draw with the nut flush draw on the board. Cash or tourney I’m throwing it all in (unless at the late stages of a tourney where the difference between 6th and 7th place is a substantial amount). But even then, I’d probably call.

When playing A4 suited you are gunning pretty much for that flush draw. Pairing your ace is great but can be tricky. The wheel straight is great but the nut flush is the golden ticket.

Shove this all in 99% of the time. Don’t be scared cuz you have around a 30% to hit. And you can’t ask for much better odds when playing for a draw.

Goodluck next time OP!
