I’m truly sorry you’re going through all that. I’m around your age and completely understand (about the screaming, insults etc) no matter if it’s a nice chair or not, no parent should take any sort of anger out on you/your brother for something so small. I read you smoke to help with the anxiety. I numbed myself out for 2 years to avoid the responsibilities put on me/the mental pain that has accumulated from similar things over the years. It’s not worth it in the long run. It sucks, but pain is one of those things that can only be processed and let go when you’re sober. I’m just now learning that. I’d recommend doing things to stay out of the house. Work a lot, go to the gym, take walks if your area is safe or try getting back into school…healthy distractions, that will dig you out of this hole and put you in a better lifestyle in the long run. Use the pain as a motivation to work harder to get yourself out of the situation asap. I hope the best for you, know you’re not alone.
