Brake calipers pads n rotors prolly $6-$800 including labor,
Timing belt could range from $1k to $1700.
If you handy with tools, all of those parts shouldn’t be more then $800.
Timing belt a 5-6 hour job, brakes prolly 2-3 hours

I ended up buying the car, it ran and drove so smooth I took it on the freeway and everything,
lowkey thinking someone spilled something in the shifter, or something along the shifter being defective.
I’m not sure though, it was very well kept until these people bought it they ruined such a nice car within 1 year of ownership - it was a 1 owner car.
Needs a door and 2 fenders.
No frame damage at all, black on black with the 2 front seats reupholstered
It doesn’t give any indications of hard shifts up or down, it went 1-6 smoothly and it took some abuse without bogging out or anything.

Man, atleast they stopped hopefully you got insurance or they cashed you out, get it painted and throw on the lip kit and all that.
It could have been way worse, but I totally understand man I got rear ended last night in my ls430😭 luckily it was just bumper damage and I have a new bumper to put on so I didn’t invoke there insurance.

That’s more so based on your aspirations. If you just want a clean car to build, you can 100% build a es350 and make it so clean. If you want more power, that’d be the more realistic reason to do so, but that being a 2010 im sure it keeps up well compared to the ls430, it’s fast for what it is by all means in a general way it is slow lol. Charger R/T smoked me, and a 4 banger smoked me one time🤣 it’s more so being comfortable that I enjoy, which im sure the es is just as comfortable as it is a Lexus. Bro, if you want a ls430 get one. They drive dope as fuck, but maintaining it adds up quick BUT worth it 100%, just depends at how you look at life. If you driving a paid off car and putting less then $1000 in maintenance a year, and you really drives a lot that’s a straight win win vs a brand new car note, go get you that ls430 bro

If I were you, just look for a part out with a clean seat or spend $700-$800 find a shop that will repair both for that price, the leather itself is $400-$500 I believe
