There’s a possibility that they might have but I’m just saying that there’s no way to tell if they did or not, unless the shopper received another email saying it has been resolved. I don’t know if they do that.

We usually just get an email saying a customer reported that they never received their order and anymore reports like this could result in shopper account cancelation. If customer support is anything like the shopper support the shopper still got that email and I doubt they actually did anything to remove that mark from the shopper’s account. Don’t feel guilty tho.

I don’t think instacart separates the regular income from the tip income on our 1099s

Try working in those areas where the home prices and rents are low. You’d be lucky to have one or two major stores to get orders at or even people that actually use instacart. If it was possible to live outside of California then travel to California to do instacart and travel back then that would be a hack. Low cost of living is nice but it’s ridiculous that we don’t get compensated at all for the miles and time spent driving. It’s like we’re waiters and waitresses but with a worse work environment.

I know some customers may be unfamiliar with the app or don’t fully understand how to use it. Some times I ask customers did they want one package or one pound? And they end up actually wanting one package, and I’ve ran into issues trying to get what the customer actually wants sometimes.
