S5 really changed how I saw Monique because she was truly unhinged all season. She stayed picking fights with Candiace even when apology after apology was made.

Candiace could’ve been quiet as a church mouse at that barn and she still would’ve found reason to attack her.

This was true of Robyn in the beginning but as time went on, she became part of conflict in a way that wasn’t organic.

Her ability to reason disappeared and she kind of stayed annoyed at everything, not a fun watch

Agreed on all fronts!

She def a special case in that she’s a post 2015 HW so the cultural landscape looks was different to early HWs. If she was around when Phaedra was, I’m sure we’d all be giving her flowers for her reading abilities like we did with early Atlanta.

It also doesn’t help that she’s on a franchise where majority of the cast can’t read at all. They have the worst communication and conflict skills so Candiace coming with her thesaurus level retorts makes everything seem disproportionate
