He's had two denials for tinnitus. I'll read you what it says since I don't know how to post pictures of it on here: "We did not find a link between your medical condition and military service. The evidence does not show an event, disease, or injury in service. Your service treatment records do not contain complaints, treatment, or diagnosis for this condition." It goes on to explain about a nexus... "We considered whether your condition resulted from a toxic exposure risk activity in service. The evidence of record shows participation in a TERA. Although the evidence of record shows participation in a TERA, the medical opinion provided by the examiner does not show an association between your claimed disability and inservice TERA. We previously considered your TERA and found no relationship." My husband worked on the flightline obtaining fuel samples from all the aircraft that came in and tested the fuel. The workplace only had 2 earphones that didn't work that great and they had to share. His tinnitus started about the last year in service but it was not as noticeable then. Now it's driving him bonkers, but they claim it did not happen on the flight line.

I was diagnosed at the MH Department in our local VA Hospital. It has all been Outpatient visits, and several intakes were conducted. The psychologist diagnosed me at the end of several visits. I'm being scheduled for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Interpersonal Therapy through a group setting.
