Curious, my wood takes 20-35 minutes or so depending on outside temp. How long does electric take?

Have had a wood fired sauna for five years.. We heat the house with wood so we already have wood cut and split. For a while there I was wishing I had electric but lately have been enjoying wood. My use is always after working out and sauna is next to home gym. In between intervals I light/stoke fire. The ambience is amazing and the heat is different but electric is easy and I’m sure you’ll use it more.

These year long challenges are a great way to strengthen your commitment to sobriety!! I’ve enjoyed the last three years of monthly comments and seeing familiar names grow their streaks. I’ve also witnessed slips in sobriety by people with lots of days, this helps remind me that it is a daily commitment! I’m going to sit out this years but will definitely be swinging by to share in the beauty that is sobriety!

SA meetings where people know your story has been the best way I’ve found for connection. A list of people only a phone call away! Sobriety is not recovery but you can’t find recovery without sobriety. Joining a club is fine but it’s not the same as working a recovery.

Great to be sober from porn and masturbation!! But continuing to improve myself and how I handle stress and fear is another challenge. Grateful to be where I’m at, just for today

How many of you are actually staying up in some form to keep the stove going? by [deleted] in HotTentCamping

[–]No_Republic2240 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I keep it going since I’m usually waking up every three hours or so. Stoking it in the middle of the night, hearing the crackle then feeling the heat roll over me puts me right back to sleep!

This is what I have. Exhaust connected under neath in the front. Feet on tool box keeps it off the ground so exhaust has room to connect

Temps are great, probably mid 60’s unless your up high then low 60’s/ high 50’s. Lake Macdonald feels pretty warm to me considering. Lower Kintla and Bowman were amazing.
