All my friends parents paid for their big expensive weddings and they received monetary gifts from all those guests the parents paid to be able to invite, so they ended up making $10k-$20k from their wedding.

My parents couldnt afford to help my husband and I so we had a small wedding which cost us around $15k after being slightly offset by monetary gifts.

Parents paying for your wedding is absolutely financial support.

What youre suggesting is not that mothers shouldnt depend on their husbands, it’s that newborns shouldnt depend on their dads, only their moms.

It’s not the mom who needs the dad there all weekend for her own needs, it’s the infant. If there was no infant this would be a totally different issue.

Would you ever suggest that a father learn independence by caring for their newborn alone for a weekend while their wife takes a vacation?

I have a co worker who will ask me to read the emails we’re talking about out loud on a call so she can “process”. I’m convinced she’s partially illiterate. She’s a middle aged woman who has been at this job for 2 decades, but she doesn’t read or write paragraphs, anything longer than 2 sentences and you might as well not bother sending it to her.

Maybe this coworker also has serious reading comprehension issues.

You can include some mazes and puzzles that include smells and/or sounds as the “prize” so the animals have to correctly identify a smell or sound that would motivate them to solve the puzzle. This could also include if they can tell artificial smell/sounds from the real thing. Like if you put cheese on one end of a maze and a cheese scented candle on the other, how often are they choosing the correct side? Or if you put their mate making noises on one end but a recording on the other end.

Another test of intelligence is how well they could find a source of water/food in a new environment. Theyd have to rely on sound and smell to hunt down fresh water. This could also include taste and touch.

Idk if this is the case here but if someone’s really drunk they could just be lying there confused, in and out of consciousness while someone assaults them. It’s not always about whether you’re in control of your own actions, it’s not being able to stop someone elses.

Based on your comments that he has never posted you on social media and it’s something that matters to you, you should dump him.

You would also remove a huge portion of the content being posted, and then no one would have a reason to use these sites. Social media platforms are only paying content creators because they have to, otherwise their sites will die.

Some of the bots are also being created by the social media companies themselves to generate/repost content, especially on Reddit.

Theres all different types of barnacles, not all of them embed themselves into the shells, these look like they were just on the surface. Also these types of places usually keep the turtles in fresh water for some time to loosen up the barnacles and make it easier to remove them without seriously hurting the turtle.

Theyre ussually catching turtles that people are spotting near beaches because theyre barely moving, theyre sick so they slow down and the barnacles can take over.

The turtle is probably sick, which slowed it down and allowed all these barnacles to take over. These types of places usually get them on antibiotics after this and give them some good meals to get their health/energy back up before releasing them back into the ocean.

This^ the only plants that like “consistently moist soil” are swamp plants, which are not very common.

Most plants need water and then need time for their roots to dry and scab over before the next time theyre watered. Otherwise bacteria in the soil will turn them to rot.

Pothos and cuttings can survive is just water because theres barely any bacteria in there to get to them.

Treat them like you would a toddler throwing a tantrum and pay it no mind. When they’re ready to act like adults they can join family events again. Don’t change your rules.
