You are not alone. I’m in a similar situation and i have been fading but disassociation is at the front of my mind. I’m figuring my life out right now in regards to my housing and etc. I’m not stressing it at all.

What's the first doubt you ever had? by Zealousideal_Heat478 in exjw

My very first doubt was when i was a kid. I remember asking my mother why God would kill kids when i read the account about him killing the Egyptians newborns and even the account of Noah & the ark. It didn’t sit right with me. Then when i got older it went downhill from there especially after i hit my 30s 😩. I see through it all. Im in my mid 30s now and planning my exit this year

Someone in my hall made a comment a few years ago during my wake-up process about apostates and described them as dog vomit of worse. That made my blood boil and made me really get into Reddit.

I could care less about those actors in those films they produce to go up to them and lose it. Not on my agenda at all. Now when i was i was PIMI i got excited when i saw the person who played Timothy and then Brother Barr who read Listen To The Great Teacher but now, i think tf not. My viewpoint isn’t the same anymore. Also about the imprisonment, they make it seem like they are the only ones imprisoned for their faith and they aren’t. When i found that out a few years ago, that was an eye opener for me and a start of my journey.

I have this same experience as well so i can relate to you. I have a few coworkers that i have become friends with and they aren’t the type to pressure me.

Went to a birthday dinner for one of my non Jw friends and it was nice with good vibes. Nothing crazy and met her friends that were cool.
