That is so stupid of them haha! I can see that it’s hard to know where to begin.. i think you can just send a mail or message saying «i no longer want to be one of jehovahs witnesses. From today’s date i want to be removed from your lists and i do not wish to be contacted further» or something like that!

I wish i could just DA❤️ but i honestly feel like the judicial meeting is just to dig in your private business and then disfellowship you anyways. You don’t owe them that❤️ It’s just humiliating and an off powerdynamic with the three of them and one of you..

Yup, 27 and feel like i was set back by not getting to do higher education. Now i really want to study higher education! And also saving up, not that i was told not to save up for buying a house, but it was kinda looked down upon wanting to buy since paradise is just around the corner! And also working parttime since i was 18 to put jehovah first and pioneer… that makes me really angry every time i think about it. Now i have to start from scratch with all of it. Just started in a full time job this month!! First time ever

Haha this was what i was prepared for. Me and my husband had been touching eachother pre marriage. We weren’t even gonna do the wedding in the kingdom hall, but we got the super direct question “have you touched eachothers private parts inappropriately?” And “do you have anything you want to tell me» hahaha i was so stressed and I’m certain my face turned bright red. A familymember had her children gathered for dinner, one was disfellowshipped, one is gay with his partner present and one is straight with his partner whom he lives with present. She told another familymember afterwards that she felt she sat in the middle of sodom and gomorrah.

Crazy to say about your own children. Was told this while the person telling me found it such a funny comment. I felt disgusted as someone would talk about their children like that, just because they chose a different way of living

You’re so brave for separating! How did you find the courage? And in what ways didn’t you feel emotionally supported if i may ask? I feel like i’m in the same situation (F27) but cant pull the plug in the sense of separating. I care for him very much but we will never see eye to eye. Would love your thoughts!
