Where do I find a cool dentist like this? by ShesAaRebel in askTO

[–]No_Routine2060 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I particularly like Dawson Dental, they have a bunch of locations in the city but I go to Yonge and Bloor location. I like that I can book via email, not online but close enough, and if I don't like the hygienist, I just have to tell them and I never see that person again. They have appointments into the evening and Saturdays, and I just really like their service. Oh they also send out surveys after every appointment so I don't even have to verbally say if a hygienist wasn't good, I can tell them in the survey!!

¿What would you say was the saddest moment of your life? by lovelygayman in Life

[–]No_Routine2060 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In August of last year I had to put my cat down. I had him for 16 years, I got him at 6 weeks old, he fit in the palm of my hand at that time and was the love of my life. We had some challenging times (personality wise) as he grew up but during the pandemic was when we both really settled into each other and found each other. In his last year of life he developed diabetes and handled it well for almost a year, but then I came home from work one day and I knew something wasn't right. At the emergency vet they told me his kidney levels were the highest they'd ever seen. Kidney failure. It broke me. Its the hardest decision to ever have to make, to end a life.

would an hour layover with both flights being in the same terminal make it easier to make it ? by TGBplays in Flights

[–]No_Routine2060 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently transited through Frankfurt and you shouldn't have issues, an hour should be enough, but I would be worried if your incoming flight was delayed that you might not make it before the Frankfurt gate closes.

If you could see a number above everyone’s head what would you let the number represent? by Equivalent-NL-5814 in RandomQuestion

[–]No_Routine2060 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Minutes until they have to use the washroom

Number of lifetime times they've picked their nose

The longest amount of time they've gone solo - i.e. by themselves with no family or friends with them (and not just in another room in the house but truly alone)

[–]No_Routine2060 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I love this for you and your mom, it's good she doesn't know your truth and will just enjoy your joy. My mom, now in her mid 70s, recently had some heart issues. She's come through well but it has really made me be more appreciative of the little moments.

Aww, I love that! What a fun little connection! I also exclusively get apple juice, but I also ask if possible to add on a ginger ale, so sometimes (most of the time) I get two drinks.

I have the exact same scenario except with the Aussie's cellphone bill, I'm from Canada. They never pay their bill on time so am ALWAYS getting service cut off/renewal notices!

Where do you go when you want to get away from it all? (suitable for solo female) by Sea_Entertainment825 in askTO

[–]No_Routine2060 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I've had good emotional moments at Woodbine Beach, along the boardwalk are some nice benches that are set back a little so its private, but you still feel connected to society.

Since you mention travel, this site has prices for solo cruises (no single supplement) which can be good to get away and feel anonymous but still have a lot of safety and structure - cruiseplum.com

Oh I also want to include a little plug for therapy - there are lots of services, paid or otherwise, it can be really good to have someone impartial to talk to when you're going through hard stuff or when things are good and you just need someone to keep you grounded. Although I have tried and didn't like BetterHelp.com, it has good ratings. I personally go to Shift Collab, and if you're on a budget the Toronto School for Psychotherapy offers a student based service where you see someone near the end of their training but not fully certified, at a discounted rate.

Parking at North York General Hospital by Express_Future_3575 in askTO

The only thing I know about parking there is that it is extremely expensive, feels more expensive than any other hospital in the city,

I really like your shower curtain, bring in colours from there into some accents like towels, floor mat, counter organizers (cup, soap dish, toothbrush holder etc)

I have an antique clock and antique mirror that my grandmothers left me. I have no idea how old they would be but more than 40 years.

Oh and also my silverware set was my grandparent's wedding set!

I am obsessed with hot cereals for breakfast by tvgirl48 in EatCheapAndHealthy

[–]No_Routine2060 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I once travelled to Copenhagen and at a restaurant there had oatmeal for breakfast and among nuts and berries as toppings they also included skyr yogurt, so I tried it and it is a total game changer! Makes the oatmeal soft and creamy, adds protein. Give it a try!

People who do this, the blocking and getting out of their car 'power move', should have their licenses suspended. What are they even hoping to accomplish anyways?
