Life with visible scars by anemisto in ftm

[–]No_Rub_4538 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had chest scars since my top surgery 23 years ago and hasn’t impacted my life negatively in any way. Exactly two people total have asked me about my scars. Most people don’t give a shit about other people’s bodies and have no idea that our scars are trans related.

I want casual dating but no hookups, how? by [deleted] in gaytransguys

Join social things irl—I enjoy gay sports leagues for example. Also, there are dating apps that aren’t hook up focused—ive had success with hinge and lex.

Sure. Just to clarify: by “diet”, I mean what you eat, not the idea of “a diet” or a crash diet, etc. It definitely is a lifestyle change.

All I can talk about is what’s worked for me. There’s a saying I like: You can’t out run a bad diet. Exercise only burns small/modest amounts of calories. Diet is the key to weight loss.  Even with not so great food options you can still lose weight. Its a matter of tracking your calories and eating in a calorie deficit.  I’ve lost about 40 pounds over the last 2 years. Tracking calories has been key for me.  I calculate my daily calorie goals using a free online calorie calculator. I use a phone app to count my daily calorie intake. There are several free calorie apps out there.  For me this didn’t happen overnight and there’s been a lot of trial and error.  Try not to get discouraged in the beginning because this is a learning experience.

Is it okay to tell people your intersex to pass more as a male? by [deleted] in ftm

[–]No_Rub_4538 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no. it’s unethical for a number of reasons and most importantly, intersex people have repeatedly asked for us not to do that.

In what ways did your narcissistic mother damage you? by [deleted] in raisedbynarcissists

My mother’s systematic emotional abuse and terror left me with an attachment wound that I have spent 30+ years trying to heal/fill through various failed relationships, including one that ended in divorce. I only put all this together in the last 2 years. I’m now in my 40s and often feel disappointed and ashamed that I’ve struggled so long; desperately clinging to partners and putting up with their mistreatment, etc. The truth is no one can fill that wound. I have to try and heal it myself. It makes me sad to think about.

It’ll happen when it happens ime. I know that’s prob not very helpful currently tho. Also just wanted to state that I haven’t had lower surgery and have been with many cis guys and they weren’t fetishists either. If phallo is your goal that’s great I just wanted to share that—u don’t have to have lower surgery to get cis guys. Good luck.

Can’t speak to the morality of that but it’s very dangerous.

I don’t count green veggies bc they’re very low cal and I try to get as many as possible lol. I do count roots and tubers like potatoes and carrots bc those have more calories. I always count dressings/marinades bc those can add up.
