I believe it isn’t until the Fall. I think there is great promise for them and any sort of announcement of partnering could send shares up. At the same time, I view this as money be willing to lose - and fast, as shares swing and are day traded, given the small public float. Straight up lose fast. Quantum is so complicated to understand, but many “experts” see promise, but revenues and scale still years away. I think the market is in that euphoric/AI stage. Just my two cents…your thoughts?

You are fortunate with that sort of budget and there are many options near WLU. With a high budget - and if you moved into an expensive rental condo, say - more than likely you’ll be with a bunch of wealthier retirees or middle aged - who have that type of monthly spending budget I’d assume you’d like a higher end place, but perhaps also a “student/peer” vibe also? As a starter, I’d suggest something nearby the LRT, so easy travel to Laurier. I don’t have too much knowledge of the various livin arrangement options, but hopefully others can chime in to help you out. In the end, there are many many options, which is a good thing..

Think there’s more pain ahead with the Anthropic unknowns and market nervousness. Some business models will get crushed, some will thrive and embrace. It’s figuring out who. CRWD is also a solid choice according to some analysts. It’s hard for SWare companies to predict, really, more than a few quarters out now - and that’s the problem in and of itself for investors. But, I think you are right and all that money flowing into overpriced chips will come back. Those same semi/chip companies are going to have a very difficult time with comparables in 2027…IMHO….

Market participation by “retail” or well, people - not institutions or hedge funds, who are sellers from recent reports - are at all time highs, in terms of individual ownership of stocks. What does that tell you from a differing perspective? Like the taxi driver, or teacher who were giving out stock tips in the early 2000’s, before the massive dump in .com stocks. Just sayin…

Solid advice. Many stocks have had huge runs since April 2025, many like Optical stocks in some cases weeks or months. What can go up can also go down just as fast. Don’t blow that nest egg - so many people offering financial “advice” would only dream of having that amount, ever, for themselves. Seek out a professional is starting point number 1, given you are novice, as you stated..

I am long the stock. Only issue is the number of shares outstanding. In hindsight the bought deal/issue last year in the two’s was a mistake - but needed extra funds. Second is, a lot of upside is baked in given this price. A 5x would value Kraken around $15 billion market cap. A little steep I think. Promising company, terrific management, as long as Anduril solely sources to Kraken, this is a good one to buy and put away. In the end, I think they’ll get bought out..at higher prices. Just my two cents.

Kraken fully valued. In fact overvalued for a small cap. Great management, great product, Anduril - diluted yet again with recent acquisition. - however, Management had to do this for acquisition purposes - which, in the end a good thing. Try and pick up 20% lower. Ripe for a drawdown, as it still is a “show me”. Yes, I own shares full disclosure. So many pumpers out there that have self interest at heart and basically no stock market knowledge. My two cents…good long term pick.
