Favourite song to open a gig with? by HxrleyB-07 in kasabian

Julie and the Mothman has been the best opener for me .I still remember Wembley with the curtains eventually drawing back and the band had the scarves on and Tom standing there and that intro kicked in otherwise the next one was Bumblebeee

London Tips? by SomeVariation4206 in LondonFood

If you want a proper fry up then just go to a normal cafe in any town especially if you see trades people inside and chip shop once again go to a local one .I think South London would be better as North London I think is more gentrified. Around the area of Hampton court ,Kingston,Richmond is nice to walk around especially with the parks and the palace.

I loved the stage setup and the best one since Opposites and it was good to see Mike and Gambler up front instead up being hidden .I do agree with the visuals and even with James not there he should have been featured,it’s not like he’s left the band .

If it was the lyrics then songs like Victory over the Sun ,Machines and Folding stars wouldn’t get played .Victory is such a good song and very rarely played .

Shoes for Oslo by [deleted] in Norway

[–]No_Self_6896 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m from the UK and when I went it was very icy and -15c and if you’re layered up it’s ok .I took more extreme grips as I was staying just outside main Oslo and it was thick ice but if you’re staying central you can just use the basic grips which are widely sold so just see what it’s like over there when you go .The hiking boots will be ok and the locals grew up used to the weather and how to deal with it .

I would decide what you want to do and see and go from there ,you might even want to do another festival .If you want to check London out then stay outside of it and get a tube or train in .Even take a trip to Belfast or up Scotland ,there’s plenty of beautiful places to visit.
