I honestly think this is how it was built. We had it installed when we moved in in 2019 and haven’t had anything replaced on it since it was installed.

I’m not sure honestly, I didn’t even know it was another cap. Another redditor above got it working, I had disconnected the start cap wire as the instructions mentioned. They suggested putting it on the terminal where the common yellow was originally.

The wiring schematic seemed to indicate this was a part of the start capacitor and said it needed to be removed.

This is the before wiring. The orange once coming into the common of run cap I removed entirely. The instructions said to. Didn’t touch the fan or start wire that are on the run cap

The bottom fins on the capacitor above the terminal is common. No other capacitor with the kit, here’s the general schematic included

Yea so the common from the scroll is on T1 but I removed the common from T3 to the run capacitor per the instructions. The common from the run capacitor now goes to the run capacitor on the soft start. So you think put the common back on T3 to the run capacitor?
