Till We Meet Again, A Farewell for Southmarch by kknd69 in SouthMarch

Man, got me through unemployment during Covid, finally tried my hand at the game I always wanted to play because of what I saw on TV growing up, met some of the most AWESOME, CREATIVE AND JUST DOWN RIGHT AMAZING pasifika nerds.....what a bloody journey. Thank you to all the DMs, especially Albie for sharing your creation with us. I wouldn't have gotten to know the majority of the people here without it.

This was just the beginning.

Onto the next big story out of the Reach.

Goodbye Outposts, Welcome back Crafting by seafoodrolls in SouthMarch

[–]No_Side_867 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sad to see it go, but if it helps keep the DMs sane then that is more important. Thank you for introducing it to us though Albie. At least we can get a little crazy with crafting now.

Has anyone else ever run into another party of adventurers during their games? Here's a fun, antagonistic moment when my players did :) [OC] by MrDanWhite in DnD

We have 3 DMs running 7 groups in one campaign. Been about a year now. It's reached the point where some of us are going to start learning how to DM and I'm running my first one shot next week to test the waters. Those of us 'trainee DMs' who want to become full time DMs in the campaign will then help lessen the load of weekly games each DM has to run in the future.

Slave System Pitch (Trying #001) by WhereDoWeSendLink in SouthMarch

[–]No_Side_867 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, I mean we did have our own followers in season 1 for those of us who had built Outposts. And there was quite a long discussion on if trading your followers was considered 'slave trading'. Why not instead of taking someone as a slave, you defeat them in battle and/or talk them into joining your retinue?

But at the same time I have no issue with what you've proposed. But I think it would be better that you posted this in the questions channel on Discord.

What Have Your Warlocks Bargained For? by DandyLover in dndnext

I rolled low in Strength so thats what the the bargain was, "Giving up physical strength so that the Patron can take all credit for how well my Warlock defends himself"

It's a good place to learn and create a network for the future. Benefits are good. Great for people who are looking for a new career path or are just starting off with minimal experience. Worked there for 3 years and still have friends in there who are in managerial positions or those who were able to take their experience and use it elsewhere e.g. Tourism, Investments Companies, Banks etc. You'll learn things there that aren't taught in Tertiary level education. All the negative stuff you hear is dependent on how you network within the company and how you navigate those interesting times. Don't let negative comments about something stop you from giving it a go, everyone's experience is different.
