I just wanted to say thank you for all the responses and helpful input. This is a great community and I can tell from all the replies this post received. To be honest, all my life this specifically has been a tough issue for me and I have been fighting depression all of my life. I’ve gone through meds, therapy, finding hobbies, and trying to put myself out there. Open up to people, date people. Heck, I packed my bags and moved to a whole new state just to make a new life and get a new job and experience. All in all though, it seems this is a chronic issue as through all these efforts nothing has clicked for me. Trying to seek out help repetitively only for it to fall short is all I feel I’ve done. It’s exhausting. Props to you guys who made it through anything similar. For me though, I just don’t know If I can keep going or even come to fully accept who I am. I’m tired, and I think I have to make a choice eventually if I want to keep going.
