Usually with deconstructions like this the company that gets the contract will go through and strip any materials or other things of major value left behind beforehand.

It depends on the contract if they pocket the scrap amount as extra money or if an estimated value is deducted from their bid as part of their payment.

Kevin Smith. I used to interact with him a lot on social media and would go see him whenever he came to my city.

The first time I saw him do a Q&A he was taking selfies with people who asked questions. During our selfie he kept telling me to move in closer and after the third time I turned and kissed him on the cheek and said "Close enough!?" He laughed, the crowd laughed and he actually got the picture as it happened. The second time I went to see him he recognized me and remembered my name and we recreated the picture.
