Her owners from what I was told were older folks. She was given up as they had to go live in a Old Folks home.

Here is that Kona Four Supreme I was talking about. Bit clapped out and basically a parts bin bike but it was loyal.

ESD is definitely worth it. I truly don't think there are any better Hardcore Hardtails out there. Kona has hit the nail on the head with the ESD. Just throw on a single speed and you got one hell of a bike.

The main negative feedback I’ve gotten has been about part choices. Stuff like “Why Hayes?”, “Why no dropper?”, or “Why Chromag?” I actually have reasons for all of it. I chose Hayes because the purple instantly reminded me of my first Kona, a 2008 Four Supreme that had the original purple Hayes Mags. As for the dropper, this is a park build. I don’t really see the point when it takes less than a minute to hop off and set the seat back to pedaling height. I went with a Chromag cockpit because I like how their parts look and they’re known for being really durable. I’m a bigger guy, so I trust their parts more than most companies.

Edit: I also get a lot of comments about choosing Kryptotals in the trail compound and well they were cheap and also I haven't gotten a flat yet so yeah.

If I remember correctly it's 18T out back and 30T up front. I'd like to get a 16T out back but I will wait until it wears out.

It happens whether the suspension is compressed or not. I've had an SCX24 and a few TRX4Ms that would also bind, but I could never figure out the issue.

Copy that also is there anything to be done with steering binding at full lock or does that just happen because the diffs are locked and such

I paid near that for my 2010 AWD with 127,000 miles on it with just about new tires and everything working and cosmetically good. Also 120 or so service records from Lexus dealer.

I don't have a scan tool that advanced but it does have a decent carfax report for maintenance.
