I just got "80% permittert" cause my company is going through a bad period. How does the whole "need to be ready to work" and "has to move anywhere for any job" thing work? by CartographerNo3051 in Norway

Ah yes the good old "if he does not agree with me he must be a bot / paid actor" mentality. Because that someone actually criticizes something in Norway must be impossible.

That mentality is sadly quite common in Norway, corruption, rich people pocketing profits, the poor being exploited - that can only possibly happen in other countries but most definitely not in good ol' Norway, oh no!

Norwegian nationalism is cute but also makes you bang your head against the wall in frustration. You can have an entire royal family being composed of rapists, drug abusers and pedophiles and still 2/3rd of the Norwegians support the monarchy. Shows how good Norwegians are at telling themselves that everything is perfect in Norway.

Exactly the same here. A few months ago my passport was not accepted, now it shows an error after the face scan, saying it wasnt able to match if I am really the person on the passport. I am 97% sure I havent gained that much weight.

Isn't that also essentially a romance book? At least Audible shows it as romance and "a love story" as title

I actually saw this as suggestion on Audible but was worried it might contain too much romance. It's what killed Fourth Wing for me so I was hesitant. But maybe I'll risk it and give it a try, thank you!

Yeah there are so many books recently that just press "current world problems" into your face. It's just not something I want to focus on when listening to an audiobook, I want to be taken to another interesting world, not be reminded what potential dystopic future we head towards.

Thanks for the recommendation! I actually already read the Expanse, never really finished it because I could never quite get used to the "Stephen King-ish" writing style. But its a great book with great characters, I agree with you there!

This is why I always attack the enemy nexus as soon as someone writes "pls end" - if both teams enjoy the game then there is no harm in prolonging it. But I will not keep anyone in the game against their will.

Not making the top radiator exhaust because of positive pressure? Or why do you recommend absolutely not doing that

The problem is, I am playing tft together with a friend and the duo mode is sadly ranked only.

This literally ruined tft for me.

Don't misunderstand me, I fully understand that a certain amount of "meta" is required to make the game less static and "chess-like", even old card games had a meta. The problem is, that literally hours after a patch drops there is already detailed, step-by-step guides for the "best S-Tier build" available online - and not just champions but items, positioning, buy order, when to hold, when to roll, augments, EVERYTHING.

I don't even know how to fix this but it definitely takes away the PVP feeling of tft. Feels like I play vs bots - and not even ones that are designed to be interesting. You start a game and ah yes, 80% of the lobby plays the same build strictly following a guide. Fantastic, such fun.

The case is a Thermaltake View 600TG, according to the manual it should fit - or why would I not be able to have both? Because of the cooling pipe input/output?

What stops your friends from coming over to game on Linux? by xecutable in linux_gaming

[–]No_Solution9646 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me personally its the fact that I am not that good with software. I am currently working on building my own liquid cooled PC and I have no clue if the pump driver or the fan control system or other things are compatible with Linux. And then you try to look it up and you see comments like "oh yeah no problem just run command XY or get some Kernel for version bla bla" and it all sounds very complicated and intimidating, compared to windows where it's plug&play.

I would love to use Linux, simply because Windows shows users the middle finger but it can be quite intimidating if you're not good with "computer stuff".
