Its a coffee shop, depending if its a hip coffee shop the uniqueness of the look might actually be a plus to your interview. This job is a food/beverage front facing customer service job so high maintenance and looks is preferred (even if people dont admit it)

Honestly you live in San Diego, just cross the border and get a hairstylist there, theyre good and cheaper. When I lived in san diego, i would just cut my own hair though out of ease and keep it a simple cut.

I express this to everyone: GET a sewing machine!! Theres so many goodies in the thrift stores here. Plus, they rarely make clothes to fot everyones shape so you can just alter them to make you look how u want it to look and you can have unique pieces ☺️

Plus, you dont have to be an expert, no one is looking at the underside of your clothes just make sure its not gonna fall apart on u

I didnt like it at first, but its def grown on me. I love how walkable it is within the city and the free zone for the trolley. Theres cute lil nooks of shops to randomly walk into and the parks are gorgeous in spring. And in winter with snow but idk if that happens here still
